A Very Volturi Christmas

It was a rather pleasant morning on December the Twenty-fifth, everything seemed peaceful. However, deep inside the city of Volterra, a large celebration of inhuman proportions was beginning

"Clearly, I make a better Santa Clause than you!" Marcus shouted at Aro.

"How so, dear Marcus?" Aro asked.

"I have white hair!!!" He snarled.

"Yes, but I have the happy demeanor of Santa."

Aro and Marcus stared for a moment, locked in heated combat of the eyes. Finally, Marcus crippled and handed the red and white hat to Aro sadly.

"You win again Aro."

Aro smiled and nodded as he motioned the vampires closer with his hat, then placed it on his head. They gathered around him and smiled.

"Dear Aro, please open my gift to you first." Jane murmured, smiling sweetly.

"Of course Dear Jane." He smiled and lifted her present up. With one quick movement, he slipped the delicate paper off of the package and opened the box. For a moment, Aro was confused, not understanding what the strange metal device was. He lifted his eyes and looked to Jane for explanation.

"They pull nails out." She explained quickly. "It was a type of torture device."

Jane's eyes shined with glee as Aro smiled. On the inside however, he sighed. Yet another torture device he had to hide and act like he used. Hopefully Jane would forget about it soon.

"Do you like it?" She asked.

"Of course. I think it's the best gift yet!" He enthused. "Now how about you open mine." He handed her the gift he had handmade for her. She quickly unwrapped it and found the nice warm stockings with reindeer that he had hand knit for him. She struggled to hide her disappointment.

"W-wow Aro. Thanks." She smiled weakly and looked at him.

"They're made with care." He said, smiling widely. This made Jane smile for real. As she figured, if it pleased Aro, she would do anything.

"Sister, open mine." Alec whispered, knowing she needed cheering up. His gift would certainly please her.

"Alright." She smiled and opened it, then smiled demonically.

In her hands rested a small vodoo doll of the chocolate haired Cullen girl, Bella.

"Oh brother, thank you. You know me so well!" She squealed and hugged him tightly.

"You're welcome sister." he murmured, hugging back.

"My turn to give you your gift!" She handed him his gift and smiled.

Aro watched and saw that it was similar to the gift Aro himself was given. He had to surpress a shudder as he wondered where the small girl found these things.

"Oh, Caius! I got you a gift too!" Jane called to him.

Caius flicked his eyes to her, staring at her as if he were a bug he wished to smash.

"Really now. How thoughtful." His voice was thick with sarcasm.

"Yeah! Alec and I are gonna go get it, okay? Don't wait up!" She smiled and the two twins ran out of the room.

"Little brat." Caius muttered, tossing his gifts to Marcus and Aro.

"Now, now, she did buy you a present." Aro murmured, opening his present.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." He muttered.

"Umm, Caius, what is it?" Marcus asked, looking at his gift.

"It's a sixteenth century dagger." He explained.

"And mine?" Aro asked.

"A wooden stake. For humor."

Aro chuckled as a growl came from the other side of the room. The three men turned and Caius shrieked an unmanly shriek. In front of him, a large wolf growled and ran closer.

"You like?" Jane asked, giggling.

Marcus chuckled, a shock to everyone as the wolf crippled from Jane's ability.

"No!" Caius growled. "Take it away!"

"Okay." she giggled and the twins carried it out.

"Now!" Aro shouted "Let us feast!"
