I have no idea where this story came from. I found it, so I post it.

"This seems a little excessive, even for you brother…" Al frowned. "I know Winry is not going to like this…"
Ed scowled at his brother, "I don't know what you're talking about! This is the best nursery ever! I wish I had something like this!"
"You don't think the transmutation circles on the wall are a bit too much? I mean-brother, you can't even do Alchemy anymore."
"That doesn't mean he can't."
Alphonse really didn't like the gleam in his brother's eyes. "Just-just what are you planning brother?"
Edward laughed, but said nothing. "I think they're pretty good, considering I haven't drawn one in almost ten years."
"Winry isn't going to like this. You've gone way over the top."
Edward shrugged, turning to the wall, dipping his brush in paint.
Alphonse gave one final, weary glance around the room and shrugged, turning to leave the room to see Winry, mouth gaped, eyes wide, and trembling slightly.
"Shit…" Alphonse murmured, backing into a corner, careful not to touch the drying circles.
"EDWARD WHAT THE HELL! You're supposed to be painting a nursery!"
"I already did that! I'm detailing now!"
"YOU PAINTED IT RED!"
Alphonse would have laughed at Winry: her face was the color of the walls. But that would have been, very, very stupid.
Edward rolled his eyes (very, very, stupid) "It's such a bad ass color. I want my son to be just as bad ass."
Alphonse covered his vitals, afraid the wrench might ricochet.
