~I obviously do not own Naruto.

Or Kakashi and Sakura would be together already.~

She rolled over for the third time since the sun had arisen an hour ago, tangling herself further in his sheets. Her short shapely legs, soft bare belly, and perfect, round, perky, twenty-three-year-old breasts, made vague impressions in the tightening sheet. She was the very image of feminine beauty to him. Her hair was elegantly disheveled, the little makeup she wore was smeared only lightly around her closed eyes, her bottom lip was slightly swollen left of center as she smiled sweetly in her sleep, and little pink and purple bruises marred the otherwise perfect skin of her neck and chest. Last night had been the perfect storm following their hasty pairing ceremony. Or wedding. Whatever it was called. All his fears of marrying a virgin had been stilled quickly. "She always did learn fast." He thought with a chuckle. She was finally his. Tangled in his sheets, smelling of his aftershave, wearing his teeth marks, he had never been happier. Of that he was absolutely sure. Even the way she spent most of the night pretzeled around him like she was clinging to him for safety made him feel satisfied in ways he had never imagined. And even though this was going to make their next mission a whole hell of a lot harder, now that he knew every curve of her body personally and was already again craving her passion, he knew with all certainty he would never regret this. He needed this. Needed her. She made him human again. Brought him back from the monster he had become with her simple, sweet touch. He never would have expected his rescue to come, much less from her. She meant more to him than his own life now. God help anyone who hurt her, or even any of the other man who couldn't keep his eyes to himself. He was already feeling the urge to track down Sasuke for putting that scar on her angelic face but he knew already the pain it would still inflict on her. And he would sooner hamstring himself then intentionally injure her. She'd gotten over Sasuke after that cruelty, and she had actually forgiven him as well. God she was amazing. She would even welcome him back as a friend if he ever came back. But Kakashi had plans for that possibility he would never tell her of. He puked for days after finding her the way that animal had left her. Nothing like realizing you love someone for the first time as you put them back together piece-by-piece. Only one scar remained from that dark night on her soft skin, though he would have loved her even if all of them remained, the scar twisted the left side of her face into a permanent smirk and dimpled her full cheek at the end. Sasuke would pay for trying to kill her. End of story. But that storm cloud of a thought didn't belong here. This was his new dawn. This morning was the birth of light in his night world. Her golden alabaster skin was glowing under the soft sunlight, appropriately enough. At that he chuckled again and went back to drowning in the ocean that was her beauty. He wanted to memorize every detail of this morning so that he could keep it forever. Keep her forever with him. His pink sunshine.
