Nice Girls

This little bit of nonsense just popped into my head this morning so I thought I would share it.

"That Paris seems like a really nice girl, doesn't she?" Sam glanced over at his partner as they left the Red Team behind. "It looked to me like she was interested in spending some time getting to know you."

An annoyed grimace ghosted across his face as Callen turned to look at Sam. "Really that's the best you've got? I'm not sure Paris would appreciate you calling her a nice girl, after all she is a well-trained NCIS agent that leads up a special team of elite agents."

"In fact now that I give it some thought I believe Agent Summerskill would be highly insulted to be referred to as a nice girl." He gave a little laugh before continuing on with his thoughts. "Remember I've seen her shoot so if I were you I wouldn't say that around her."

Sam gave Callen an annoyed look as he spoke. "Come on G, you know I wasn't downplaying her skillset. I can see that Paris is totally capable and an attractive woman not a girl. I just meant that maybe you should give her a call sometime. It wouldn't hurt you to get a social life. Besides you wouldn't have to pretend with Paris, she knows who you really are."

"So you're still trying to set me up on dates? Look I've told you before and I'm telling you now; you're not my mother." Callen smirked in his partner's direction.

"Sorry G, I just want to see you settled with a nice girl. I worry about you ending up old, lonely and bitter with no one to take care of you."

"Don't worry about me Sam, I'll be ok. As for trying to get me settled with a nice girl, did it ever occur to you that maybe I don't like nice girls? That I prefer strong, independent women a little on the naughty side?"

With an evil laugh Callen got of the car and walked into the little coffee shop they had stopped at, leaving a shocked Sam behind him trying to digest the words he had just heard.
