A Weasley Christmas

"Roxanne, James, do you both mind moving a seat down, we still have to fit Ginny and Perc-"

"Granny!" Came a long drawn out whine, interrupting Mrs. Weasley in mid sentence. The elderly witch turned to the small girl and addressed her with a forced calm.

"Yes Lily, darling?"

"I want to sit next to you!" The small girl exclaimed.

"Well alright just take a seat beside your brother-" Mrs. Weasley said, indicating to the vacant seat beside James.

"But, Granny!" The small girl whined again. Mrs. Weasley turned for the second time to address the girl.

"Yes Lily?" She said a bit more impatiently.

"There's no room for me there." Lily replied. Mrs. Weasley glanced at the pair of once vacant seats beside James. Hugo and Bill had just sat down and were laughing whole heatedly at what Charlie was saying across the table.

"Right, Hugo do you mind sitting over there by George-"

"But you said that I could sit beside uncle Bill!" Hugo whined to the elderly Mrs. Weasley.

"Right, fine Victorie darling, do you mind-"

"Zat is not 'air!" The willowy blonde complained, "I always 'ave to move!"

"Right-fine-okay!" Mrs. Weasley said though clenched teeth.

"Harry, could you just-" But once again the old witch was cut off by the loud crash, emitted from the kitchen. "Oh, for heavens sake!" She said angrily, before stomping into the kitchen; completely forgetting the argument at the table.

"Ron! Just what do you think your doing?" Mrs. Weasley yelled looking horrified at the two large turkeys now lying on the floor. "That was our dinner!"

"I… he-"

"I didn't have anything to do with it, stop pointing at me!" Albus said backing away from the mess accumulated on the floor. Ron's ears grew red as he tried to think of an expliation. The truth was he had been trying to show off by lifting the tray holding both turkeys with one hand- evidently it was too heavy.

"Ron! What are we going to eat?" Mrs. Weasley shrieked. She was almost to her breaking point, with twelve grandchildren, 6 children, six wives husbands and girlfriends, 4 guests, her and Arthur; it was a bit too much to handle.

"Order a pizza?" Ron offered meekly.

"Pizza? PIZZA!" Mrs. Weasley almost felt like laughing, in fact she did laugh, and once she started she couldn't stop. The laughter was so loud that people around the dining table started to file into the cramped kitchen, just to see what was so funny.

"Molly?" A questioning remark came from the onlookers. "What is going on here?"

"Ron wants pizza for dinner." She said through now tears of laughter.

"I think she's lost her mind." George could be heard saying to Hermione near the door.

"Must have…" Hermione agreed.

"It happens every year…" Charlie said in mock sadness. "Right well lets just order the pizza, same thing as last year?"
