NOTES: A short Flack/Aiden fanfic by me. Forgive me if it sucks.

It was a hot, summer afternoon. Flack entered the crowded bus. Gosh, was he sweating like a pig. He had his coat and necktie off. Good thing he was wearing a dark shirt or else others would have to bear witness to his sweat stains.

Seeing as there's no empty seat left, he went to the back of the bus where it wasn't so crowded and stood there. He felt someone bump into him. Annoyed, he turned to see who the clumsy fool was. His mouth went dry when he saw that the "clumsy fool" was none other than Aiden.

"Woah, sorry about that Flack," she said.

"Nah, it's alright."

They were quiet for a few seconds.

"So, why are you using the bus?" he asked her.

"I left my keys in the lab. What about you?"

"Damn car won't start. I was about to leave for a crime scene at Times Square."

Aiden fanned herself with her hand.

"It sure is hot in here," she said.

"Yeah it is. Hey, Aiden, would you like to -"

Flack couldn't finish his sentence because Aiden removed her coat and underneath that coat, she was wearing a black tank top. His eyes tried not to stray downwards when he saw that she was wearing a low-cut tank top.

"That feels better," she said, still fanning herself with her hand. "What was it that you were saying?"

Flack was about to drool but caught himself from doing so.

Get a grip on yourself, he thought.

"I was saying…"

The bus took a sudden turn and Aiden almost knocked Flack off his feet. He caught her by her waist.

Flack's heart was thumping rapidly. Here was Aiden, leaning on him, in a crowded bus and they were both sweating.

Silently, in his head, he thanked God for this moment.

"Thanks," she said, balancing herself.

"No problem."

She looked out towards the window. Someone rolled the windows down so that air could come in. With the wind blowing in her face and her cheeks flushed, Flack thought she had never looked more beautiful.

"Hey, Flack, isn't that your stop?" said Aiden.

He looked outside and saw that the bus was nearing Times Square.

It's now or never, he thought.

"Aiden," he said.

"Yes?"

"Wouldyouliketogooutonadatewithme?"

"What?"

He took a deep breath.

"Would you like to go out on a date with me?"

Aiden looked at him.

"Are you asking me out on a date, Flack?"

"Well, yeah but if you don't want to I'm perfectly fine with -"

"Sure, I'd love to go on a date with you," she said, smiling. She was blushing a little.

Flack grinned. "Great! So I'll pick you up at around 8 pm on Saturday night?"

"That's fine with me."

Flack was so happy that he was grinning from ear to ear.

"Oh, and Flack?" said Aiden.

"Yes?"

"You just missed your stop."
