Shadows hide the lies we've told;

And masks have buried who we really are.

You behind a smiling face,

Me beneath my clan's disgrace,

He's lost in a death-filled chase.

But in end we're all the same,

All alone and always broken;

Left behind as bitter tokens

Of other times...

Best to be forgotten.

Monster, Demon, Promise-Breaker,

Village-traitor...

Betrayed by Kin & lost in others' sins.

What can we do but play our parts,

On this darkened stage;

Crying as our lives begin take the shape in which

their cast.

We can't break the mold to which we're set and

we can't last another act.
