Centaurian boy of Centaurian birth

Born onto this cruel earth

Friendly child cursed forever

His place of birth, he shall see never

His mother hunted down

His father already buried in the ground

Centaurian son born alone

Mind like rock and heart like stone

But only cowards choose to die

Only fools always cry

He wipes off his tears and his voice thunders

"I shall not die like a dog, I swear by all the world's wonder.

The world is cruel but I shall survive

Here me now my time shall arrive."

The child wanders into lands of cold

Thus his future shall unfold

He moves through the ice and feels the pain

But he shall not be killed nor slain

He learns to fight and hunt for boar

Learns the methods of battle and war

He learns to rely own might

On southern lands he has set his sight

Trolls move out of the way

When the centaur chief came that day

Orcs move out of the path

Lest they would like the centaur's wrath

Centaurian chief unites the centaurian race

Carving a nation on the planet's face

Centaurian cities built by centaurian hands

He who united the Centaurian war bands

Centaurian orphan becomes Centaurian king

Mighty warrior from the northlands who was once a weak thing

A mighty nation he has forged

From every valley and every gorge

The Centaurian king hears cries outside his palace walls

They are the sounds of tortured elvin calls

He bursts through the iron palace doors

He sees his men bullying a small female night elf on all fours

With one glance, the centaurs part

The king looks upon the elf child and sees something in her heart

A fire within her that burns so peculiar

A fire that seems very familiar

The fire is untapped so she is afraid

The king walks slowly up to the elvin maid

"Give this one food, a warm bath and water to drink

I shall be in my chamber so I can think."

At night the elf child sneaks through the halls

She moves silently beside the walls.

She hears a sudden bell ring

She turns around to see the king.

"Why were you kind oh king?"

"Why should I not have helped such a thing?

You remind me of a boy I knew many years ago

That is all you need to know

Remember that all things strong were once weak.

All things big were once meek.
