A.N.: I wrote this about a year ago when I was playing Armageddon. I decided to try my hand at writing a few fanfics about it, and this is what I came up with. Warning it's probably slightly crack headed, and as always yaoi .-.-'
This Man I Love
This man that I love is not a normal man. He is a fighter, a defender, he is a now a god. When we first fell victim to love he had no warmth in his skin, he was cold like a steal blade before a fight. It felt rough and dry like the desert sand. This man I love had no breath in his lungs, he was so silent, like a windless night. No air past through his parted lips as he grounds filled the night with sound. He was a man with a low vocabulary, the sounds he made spoke loud for him though. Grounds, mumbles, hissing, howls, the sounds of chains clinking together, those were usually his sounds. His silver chains that always clung to his body, I use to wish I could be those chains, they always announce that he is near.
This man that I love more than life it's self had no heart beat within his chest. No echoing sound as my head lie agents it. No pulse was felt when I caressed his neck, either with my hand or tong, it didn't matter which. His arms that would embrace my naked body, holding me close. It always sent chills up and down my spine, until I was frozen down to my very core. My fevered flesh would cool down only to be set on fire again by him, only him. He took me to a place known as heaven, he still does.
This man I love always wore a shirt like his skin, dry and rough. It looked as though he wore pendants of bones. Though the truth was they were parts of his exposed ribs, his very flesh was torn down to bone. It didn't matter, I love him for him, that's all that matters.
This man that I love has become a god, no longer has silent breathing. He no longer wares parts of bones or a shirt of flesh. His skin is soft and warm now. His hair feels like silk in my grasp. His strong arms welcome me in. They hold me has tight and keep me as safe as they always did. His sent has changed, what was once rotting corpse that he washed twice a day now has a soothing sent that calms my nerves, and eases my mind. He talks in a voice that rings threw my ears, it still echos threw the night, but now more words that groans. I love yous are said at least once a day, they pass though his soft and gentle lips.
This god that I love, has fought by my side through many battles. He has showed me time and time again that he deserves to have been the one that defeated Blaze. Even though I wish I had gotten there before him, that I had been the one to defeat Blaze, that I had gotten the chance to be grater than him, nothing else matters but our love. Though he is now an elder god and I am but a mortal man, love has with stood greater complications than ours, I give my soul and everything that I am to him, in return he gives me himself wholly as well.
"I love you, Liu Kang."
"I love you too, Kung Lao."
