Kisses

Sometimes when Clark thought of the many women in his life. He remembered the kisses most of all and how they made him feel. His mother always comforted him, Chloe felt like a sister, and Lana felt like a gift. Alicia would always stand out to him because it made him feel normal. Alicia always knew his secrets so he never felt embarrassed when he kissed her too hard, she would just laugh it off.

Clark felt like they loved each other equally that made the kisses feel like they would never end. Lana's kisses felt like gifts that could be taken away at any second if she ever found out. Alicia always tried to steal kisses from him in between classes even if she had to run from the other side of the building. Clark never admitted to her that he did the same but he hoped she guessed especially since he sometimes used his super speed see her. She would always sigh after a kiss as if she had held her breath until that moment. In those moments he saw things that he had never seen with Lana.

Clark loved how she would kiss his head when they talked about using their powers. She would always listen to his stories with awe and waited till he was done to kiss his head and whisper so low that he would not be able to hear with out his super hearing that she was so lucky. She would tell him about the places she has traveled to when she could use her powers. The kisses encouraged him to talk more about the things that happen in his life. It was refreshing to hear a different opinion of the things he has done besides his parents' opinion. They would laugh and have inside jokes between each other that made him feel like he was part of society. Later on in life he realized that he would always be the "special" person in the group.

When he found her that night in the barn dead the first thing he noticed was her pale lips. The lips were a lifeless pink when they had always been vibrant and covered with a flavored lip gloss. At the wake, they had piled on make up to hid the rope burn on her neck. He knew she would have hated that because she never wanted to hide anything about her once she had him. She would say being with him made her feel invincible. He wished it was true, so when he leaned into her casket he kissed forehead with a little hope that his luck would be passed onto her and she would awaken. He shed a tear when he realized that she was really gone.

Clark would have many kisses in his life but he would always remember Alicia's kisses the most fondly.
