A Teen Wolf fic this time, people! Sorry Colors hasnt been updated yet, been pretty busy lately, but it should be updated soon. I promise.
The July air was humid and sticky, even at night. Mosquitoes buzzed around him, drawn to the thought of the blood they could suck out. He swatted at the as he made his way down the street, wiping his face with his shirt.
The street wax silent, street lamps lighting each side of the neighborhood in a mucus yellow. Months flew around the light bulbs in little clusters, attracted to them like a flame. Shadows danced all across the road is spirals and shapes of inhuman beasts that little children think up of in their dreams. The wind blew a breeze that pushed several discarded newspapers out into the street, flipping and twirling in a type of dance.
Kicking a rock, he sat himself down on the curb, watching as a newspaper whirled by him and into the night. A cat meowed somewhere causing a dog to bark loudly. A car horn sounded several streets over that went on for several minutes before going quiet.
Sighing, he lifted his eyes to stare up at the moonlit sky, the stars twinkling. A couple of stars winked at him as the moon just smiled down, like they had no care in the world.
For several minutes, he just sat there, watching the moon and the stars silently.
Then he heard them.
Footsteps.
He turned his head, looking back down the way he had came, frowning. No one was there, which was strange, for he knew he heard footsteps. Still frowning, he turned back around to stare up at the sky.
As he did, someone grabbed him around the face, a cloth placed over his nose and mouth. He struggled for a little bit before his bones grew weary and his eyes droopy, thoughts panicked and scared. His body went limp as a ragdoll as his eyes shut closed and he was hauled over a shoulder.
And the July air stayed sticky and humid as he disappeared, the moon and stars having seen all that happened.
