Professor Satou knew one thing: he would not die until someone enjoyed his lessons.
There was also another thing he knew. That would not happen at all. He was already dead, from a duel from his own student.
From what he saw, there was no evidence Juudai even cared about strategies. Nothing about his deck screamed "well-thought out build for almost every situation." And it just angered him. In his life, the one that involved dueling for what was basically the sorry remains of his life, luck had no room.
And it wasn't even like luck was on his side. He never did draw that one card that could change the outcome of the duel in a snap. It was always a card that he had to work for to get it to win a duel. Which was never guaranteed.
But then he had to laugh. This was who everyone looked up to? This was who everyone followed?
Maybe it wasn't now, but soon they will see how terrible it was to trust him.
