AN: This was inspired by the story Broken Connection by Cinnamon dot Noir. (Replace the word dot with an actual dot)

Sabrina's glasses were broken.

It was an odd thing to be worrying about really. She was lying pinned to the ground by a long metal pole (curtsey of yet ANOTHER akuma of course) through her midriff and she could feel her blood slowly pooling behind her and yet she was worrying about her glasses of all things. It seemed almost silly really.

But it was something for her to think about, something that wasn't her slowly bleeding to death and freaking out because neither the emergency services, nor Paris's superheroes could get even close to her, much less save her.

And honestly? She had saved Chloe, pushing her out of the way of the akuma's attack. She wasn't important, not really. Chloe and Ladybug and Chat Noir were all more important.

But her glasses were broken. And that bothered her, because without her glasses, how was she supposed to see anything? How was she supposed to keep up with her own schoolwork, let alone Chloe's without her glasses? Her eyesight was terrible! Worse than pretty much every single person in her class.

She could feel the blood clotting up her hair. She was beginning to feel light headed and the world was fading in and out of view. She felt tired. So very, unbelievably tired. She wanted to stay awake, something about not ever waking up again if she did. She couldn't really remember, it was just so much effort. So tired, so very tired. Was she normally tired at this time of day?

Chloe was going to be so angry that her glasses were broken. She would shout at her and tell her not to be so clumsy and moan about having to do her own homework. Chloe was going to be disappointed and tell her what a useless friend she was (she really was though, Sabrina thought to herself.) At least with Sabrina unable to help keep her schedule, she would do a better job of it.

Speaking of Chloe…there was something…she couldn't quiet remember. So faint, so foggy…Sabrina wasn't sure…the world was turning dark and her head felt so heavy and so light at the same time…she couldn't keep her eyelids open any longer…she closed her eyes and allowed the feeling of peacefulness roll over her.

They were never opened again.
