"Hey Combeferre?"

"Yes, Courfeyrac?" Combeferre sighed. He loved Courfeyrac, he really did, but you had to admit that he could get... annoying.

"Why is it that you're 19 years old and you've never been in a relationship?"

This was it. Combeferre had wanted to come out for a long time now, but there was never an opportunity.

"I'm... I'm asexual."

"Okay. So what exactly does that mean?"

"Well, many asexuals do have relationships, and it's not like we can't have sex. We just usually don't feel sexually attracted to anyone. Personally, I'm aromantic as well, which means I don't want to have a romantic relationship."

"Okay then. Why did you never tell me?"

"I was scared. I thought, like my parents, you'd say that I just haven't found the right person yet or something."

"No. I totally understand. I mean, when I came out, my parents didn't understand the difference between pansexual and bisexual." Combeferre remembered that night. Courfeyrac was just 14 and scared to death because his conservative parents couldn't understand.

"Promise not to tell? I mean, Enjolras knows, but no one else does, and I'd like to keep it that way for now."

"You know that no one will judge you."

"I know, but I'd like to tell them on my own time."

"Of course."

"And Courfeyrac?"

"Yeah?"

"I really love you."

"I love you too, Combeferre."
