IT'S YOU

Summer had passed and Blair is back in the UES. And yes, she didn't get married. She called off the engagement as soon as the plane landed in Paris. But no one in the UES knew that. Surprisingly, she wasn't even on Gossip Girl during summer. She first thought about seeing Dan, even though they promised each other that they would watch movies together while talking to each other like they did on Valentine's Day, she never called. Dan waited for a long time for Blair to call, but she never did. Dan tried to call every time but he convinced himself not to. He thought that Blair was too busy being a good fiancé to her prince charming. He hated thinking of that, Thinking of Blair in someone else's arms instead of him. But as long as she's happy, he ignored the pain.

So when he saw Blair standing outside He's door, unmarried, he was surprised.

Blair: Hi Dan.

Dan: "Uhh. Blair, what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in Paris? Married?"

Blair: "That's ancient history. Didn't you hear? The wedding got called off." Blair says as she entered the loft. It's been long since she's been here. She hates to admit it but she missed it, she missed Dan.

Dan: "No, I didn't. Maybe, if you called me I would have known." Dan says waiting for an explanation.

Blair: "about that, I'm really sorry. I've just been a little preoccupied. You know, about everything..."

Dan can feel the sadness in her voice. He wants to be mad at her, really. I mean, how dare her promise this things and just leave him waiting for her all summer and when he's finally starting to forget her smell, her touch, her lips. Boom she comes back. Expecting him to forgive her immediately. He totally forgot that Blair was in front of him, waiting for him to response.

Dan: "You know what, that's fine."

Blair: "Really Humphrey? You're not mad? Come on." Feeling a little disappointed.

Dan was surprised at her response.

Dan: "I want to, really. But I just can't. When you were gone, I kept thinking that when you show up at my front door, I would shut the door on your face. But now that you're really here. I can't. I think that what happens when you're in love."

Blair: "You think so? So who's the lucky girl that has captured your heart that made you so forgiving?" Moving closer, tempting him. She's so close that she can actually feel his heart beats faster.

Dan:" Well, you know, it's this girl... It's you." He said as he blushes. "I've missed you, Waldorf."

Blair: "I missed you too, Humphrey. Now shut up and kiss me. "
