Keiko opened her eyes, waking up exactly 33 minutes before her alarm clock.

'What the? I fell asleep at 4, and I'm awake at... 5:27? What the fuck.' Keiko shook her head, forcing her legs to get out of bed, and walked down the long hallway, stopping at the stairy way, and sitting on the railing.

"This should wake me up." She let herself slide down the railing, squealing even though she had done it tons of times before. Katsuke, her brother, caught her at the end.

"Retard." He said, walking away.

"Cocky, perverted bastard!" She stuck her tongue out at him and ran into the over-sized kitchen. She grabbed a banana out of the fruit bowl, unpeeling it. Katsuke walked in, getting some bread from he cabinets.

"So, you ready for your first day at a new school? It's your sophomore year." He said in a sing song voice. Keiko shook her head.

'I don't know. I haven't been to an actual school in 3 years. Y'know, since we didn't want to go to school after mom and dad..." Her voice cracked an octave higher than it should have.

"... I guess. I'm going to get ready." Keiko threw out the unfinished banana, and walked back up the stairs.

Ever since her parents died, they left the house, money, and everything to her and Katsuke. She finally got to her room, and walked inside her closet. It was huge, filled with clothes, most of them from when her, and Hinata Hyuuga went shopping. She always thought that Hinata and Naruto should get together, since she talked about him all the time. And she didn't even know him. The only true friends she actually spoke to were Neji and Hinata. And she talked to Mikoto Uchiha. But she never met her two sons, and had only seen a glimpse of her husband, Fugaku. From what Mikoto said, Itachi and Fuagku mostly were about business, working in the Uchiha Business, whatever that was. And Sasuke, well he was a Sophomore, just like Keiko. She would probably see him this year.

Keiko searched the closet for something to wear. She chose light blue jeans with a rip in one of the knees, and a rip in the oher thigh. It had been from an accident, not long ago. Maybe 4 or 5 months? Keiko shook her head, looking back to the clothes. She also picked out a black tank top, with a black mesh shirt going over it, and some random black shoes that looked to be made for boys, but had navy blue at the bottom and was fitted for girls. She also put on a golden heart locket, that had a navy blue ribbon, and tied her hair up with another navy blue ribbon. She obviously liked navy blue.

"Okay... where's my eyeliner?" Keiko rummaged around the large drawer of makeup. Mikoto-san had intorduced her to makeup a while ago, and bought her some occasionally, Keiko always blushing and refusing to take it. But she always did anyways, out of respect for Mikoto. She had grown especially fond of the eyeliner. Finally, she found it, cheering mentally. She went to the mirror in the closet, applying it. When she was done, she put on some chapstick, refusing to wear lipstick, unless it was a special occasion.

Keiko smoothed out her jeans, though there was no need, and put on a cap with a horse on the front of it. She loved horse-back riding, and had more than one horse, but her favorite was Pepper. The dark chestnut Tennessee Walker. He had been a present from Ojiisan and Obaasan, right befre the clan's death. About three years ago. Pepper had been a small horse, and since Keiko had taken care of him, visiting his stable everyday, making sure he was alright.

Keiko looked at the time on her alarm clock. 5:54. Just enough time to clean Pepper's stable, then stop by the cemetary. She smiled, taking off her sneakers, and slipping on rubber booots, normally used to clean the stables or ride the horses. She put her shoes into her bag along with her school supplies, not forgetting her dark purple cell phone.

"Katsuke, I'm gonna go check on Pepper! See you later!" She picked up an apple and walked the long trail to the stables.

"Hey, Pepper!" She cooed, feeding him an apple.

"Well, you sure are hungry!" She let the horse eat the apple out of her hand, then in record time, shoveled out the old hay, and added in some new hay. She patted pepper on the back.

"Well, I gotta go. New school, I won't be home as much. I'll come back later today, Pepper!" She kissed the horse on the nose and started walking back to the front of thw house, walking until she was in front of a cemetary. Her clan's cemetary. Walking to the back, she crouched in front of a tombstone, labeled Daishiro Chinatsu. A good husband, loving father, and great brother. Keiko's eyes became blurry upon seeing his name.

"Obaasan. I miss you so much. I wish you had never left... Things were perfectly fine... We still haven't figured out who killed the clan. I know you said never to feel hate or revenge, but I just want to give that guy a good beating. Just because Katsuke and I have lost so much. Keiko breathed in deeply, trying to stop the tears, then walked over to Okaasans stone.

"Okaasan. I love you, and miss you. All of you. I wish you were here s that we could talk, like we always did. You know, girl to girl. You remeber Mikoto? Well we're really good friends. So are me, Hinata, and Neji. Yeah... It's the first day of school. So, I, uh, better get going. I-I love you Okaasan." Keiko picked up her bookbag, and walked out of the cemetary, wiping her face with her sleeve. Thank god the eyeliner was waterproof and smudge-free.

Keiko decided to stop my Mikoto-sans house, since she was passing by. She knocked on the large doors of the Uchiha household. A servant answered, smiling at Keiko. Unlike most rich people, she treated everyone with respect, unless they treated others poorly.

"Good morning, Chinatsu-sama." The butler, Hibiki, bowed to me. I shook my head. The boy was only 5 or 6 years older than me. Probably 20.

"No, no, no. I told you to call me Keiko. I'm younger than you! You make me feel old." She puted and Hibiki smiled.

"Sorry, Chi- Keiko. Mikoto-san is in the kitchen, cooking." Keiko nodded and stepped inside, knowing where to go. She arrived at the kitchen, where Mikoto was making soemthing that smelled delicious.

"Oh, it smells wonderful, Mikoto-san!" Keiko blurted out, making Mikoto jump and drop the food she was making, luckill y, Keiko ran, and caught it, flipping it back into the pan. Mikoto sighed.

"You're just as fast as Sasuke and Itachi, my dear. And they use Sharingan. Thank you." Keiko nodded to Mikoto.

"It's no problem." There was slow clapping. I turned immediately, seeing Fugaku, and a boy who had resemblence to Mikoto.

"Very nice job, indeed. Where did you learn to be that quick and quiet, without a kekkei genkai?" The younger one asked, looking me up and down. I shrugged.

"Training from my clan... when I was younger." I looked down at my feet, remembering when we used to go outside and train all day. The boy nodded, and held out his hand.

"I don't believe we've met. Itachi Uchiha. You?" I shook his hand, with a firm grip. It was always important.

"Keiko Chinatsu. So you're the famous Itachi Mikoto-san aways talks about. Where would Sasuke be?" Fugaku's nosed wrinkled up, thinking of Sasuke. I could tell he wasn't Fugaku's favorite son. A boy my age walked into the kitchen.

"What do you want, Mo- Oh. Hn." I smiled at Sasuke. Apparently my voice sounded like Mikoto's because he thought she had called for him.

"My name is Keiko." I held out my hand, smiling softly. What Mikoto said was right, Sasuke was good-looking. As was Itachi. I held up my hand for about 30-seconds, before letting it drop.

"I see you're not a fan of introductions." I whispered quietly to myself. Mikoto stood behind Sasuke with her hands on his shoulders.

"Sasuke! Be nice! I'm sorry, Keiko. He can be a bit. Arrogant!" She pinched him in the neck and he swatted her hand away. Itachi spoke up again.

"So you're from the Chinatsu clan." Mikoto tried warning her son not to mention the clan death. "Weren't they killed, in the massacre, three years ago?" My eyes widened, and I looked away from him.

No way was I going to cry in front of Mikoto's amily. The Uchiha's! They would think I was weak!

"Y-yes. They did." My voice cracked and I stood up straight.

"I-If you could excuse m-me for a m-moment." I walked out of the kitchen, and to the garden outside. I sobbed, quietly. No need to attract unwanted attention. I heard shouts from inside.

"Itachi! You weren't supposed to mention the clan death! She's still a little sore over it!" Mikoto said to Itachi in a loud voice.

"I had no idea, Mother, that it still bothered her. I'll apologize to he right away." Mikoto sighed. He didn't know, so it was okay.

"And Sasuke, where were you so rude?" Sasuke shrugged.

"I-I don't know. Impulse." Mikto hugged him and kissed his forehead.

"Well, alright, but I want you both to apologize. I'll let Itachi go ou first, and when you see her at school, Sasuke. Then you can apologize. Alright?" They both nodded, and Itachi walked out to the garden. I was sitting on a bench, holding my head in my hands while crying. He rubbed my back, sitting down with me. I immediately wiped my eyes on my sleeve. Itachi rubbed my back in a soothing way.

"I'm sorry, Keiko-chan. I didn't mean to bring back bad memories. Will you be alright?" I looked up at Itachi.

"Thank you, for caring so much. But I don't need pity." I stood up, and walked back into the kitchen, regaining my composure.

"I am sorry, Mikoto-san. That was unnesscessary." I acted my best in front of Fugaku and Sasuke. Itachi joined us in the kitchen, a litle shocked. Mikoto puled me over to the side.

"I have never seen Itachi like that. What did you do?" I smirked.

"I sorta said I didn't like pity." Mikoto smiled fondly at me.

"Well, finally. Itachi is even more arrogant than Sasuke. He just hides it well. Good for you." She gave me a small high-five and we walked back to the breakfast counter. I looked at the time and yelped.

"I gotta go! I'm gonna be late!" It was 7:32. And school started at 8. Mikoto grabbed my wrist.

"You can ride with Sasuke, Keiko. You do go to the same school after all." I shook my head.

"No! I'd hate to impose!" Mikoto shook her head.

"No. You wouldn't be doing that! It's only a ride to school." Keiko sighed.

"Okay, Mikoto-san. But just this once. Okay?" Mikoto nodded at me, and Hibiki carried my bad, opening the door for me. I thanked him ad slid in, thanking him again when he gave me my bag.

This was going to be a long ride... I could already tell I wasn't going to like that Uchiha.

Sorry if it's weird. It's my first FanFic, and it doesn't have spell check. By the way, as you can tell, Sasuke's family is alive. I assure you, this is a KeikoSasuke romace. Nothing between her and Itachi. Rate if you want. If you're here. Then you read! Bye!
