Just read it.
Neliel sat on the far end of the couch, giggling at the small puppy as it nipped at her hair and barked happily. Grimmjow was lounging on the other end with a dark look on his face, tight-lipped and aggravated. The horror movie on the TV screen was turned up as loud as it could go, although he wished it was louder. Watching people die made him feel better.
His girlfriend did not seem to notice his annoyance nor the volume of the TV, however, because she was a bit too busy with the stupid dog in her lap. Grimmjow hated animals period, but he despised dogs more than all of them. This one more so because it was taking Neliel's attention away from him. Normally, they never watched movies, and their couch was their favorite place to do it. But today was a whole different story. Ever since Nel had found the puppy on the street the day before she hadn't said hardly anything to him. That was saying something, because Neliel could talk. A lot. Now the only thing he heard coming from that direction was giggling... and barking.
He wouldn't mind snapping that thing's neck.
Grimmjow clutched the arm of the couch as hard as he could, using it as a stress ball in an attempt to calm himself down. He knew he was being immature for getting jealous of a dog, but he really didn't care at the moment.
"Grimmjow, what's wrong?" Nel's high pitched voice asked, hinted with worry.
Now you notice. "Nothing's wrong," He said bluntly. "Why would there be something wrong?"
"Well, your face is a little red, which means your mad about something, and you're about to break the arm of the couch."
He looked at his hand, and noticed that he was gripping it a bit too hard. So he softened his grip and tried to collect himself, but it wasn't easy with him being the hothead he was.
"Now will you tell me what's wrong?" She asked. The puppy was staring at him, it's huge black eyes blinking in curiosity.
"I told you woman, nothing is wrong with me."
"Don't lie, I know you. You're mad."
He glanced at the puppy, who was still looking at him, and then back at Neliel. He hadn't meant to do that, but it seemed to click in her head now. "Oh! You're jealous of the puppy, aren't you?"
Like he would actually admit it to her. "No."
She held it up in front of her lovingly. "How could you be jealous of him? He's too cute and innocent for that."
"I don't give two shits about that thing, so leave me alone." He looked back at the TV just in time to see a man get slammed in the head with a hammer.
Neliel sighed, setting the puppy down on the floor. "If you're going to get jealous over a little dog, then what are you going to do when we have our baby? I'll have to pay lots of attention to it-"
Grimmjow looked back at her, horrified. "You're pregnant?!"
Neliel's eyes grew wide, and her face went through several different facial expressions before she finally smiled at him reassuringly and said, "Kidding!"
Grimmjow let out a mighty huff of air. "Fuck. That scared me. Don't do that."
"Actually..." she said quietly. "I am pregnant."
Surprise ending :O
How do you think Grimmjow will react to THAT? Probably not well XD
