Serrated
Draco always had a dangerous affection for sharp objects.
It was never anything self-destructive, however; Draco just always found himself riveted to things that cut. Things that hurt. Things that stung.
So it was no wonder that late in his fifth year, that he began to see certain things in a certain someone that he had never saw before. He'd almost not received an O.W.L. for it, when he'd dropped that glass whilst looking at this person.
But he couldn't help but be distracted… The boy's eyes were so penetrating. And since then, he's been picking fights just to feel that sting, just to hear those words that cut into his insides so well. Even if it meant to put on a show of anger, disdain and disgust.
And he became addicted. No knife, no blade could compare to thrill and shiver that ran down his spine. Running a blade against his finger experimentally would never compare. A double edged knife through his heart could never do the trick.
The Emerald Eye Wonder's words were serrated, designed to sting, designed to hurt, and cut into Draco deeper than anything else he'd encounter.
Draco always had a dangerous love for sharp objects; Harry Potter was no exception.
