A film crew was getting ready for a big production, "Wow" Star shouted, "I can't believe they're shooting a movie here at Juan Garrido Academy."
A familiar figured to Tucker, "Jason Nesmith" he said, "You're a director now."
"This is my first ever movie." Jason replied, "Dream Girl High"
"Isn't that the spin-off remake of the hit film, "Dream Boy High?" Cho asked, "My friend, "Jane" has all of their episodes on DVD"
"It is" Jason answered, "5 years after Good Enough Entertainment, Inc debuted Dream Boy High, he wanted to give an equal rights thing, so he made Dream Girl High."
"We want to hear the story," Lec said,
"The 15-year-old singer and younger sister of Xyler, "Zina" moves to the big city from California," "Now she must prove to be the most RAD girl and win homecoming queen."
"How rad?" Sunny asked.
"She must bring back memories of the 1980s." Jason answered, "Since no one remembers it in her story."
"That sounds like a good plot." Cho replied, "Bringing back a previous decade."
A teenage girl with tan skin and brown hair came in, "This is Cyndii Poppers" Jason said, "She'll be playing Zina in the film."
"Rad" Lec smiled.
"Like, yeah" Cyndii replied, "I'm like going to be better than all those other rejects."
"GEE was also wondering if you could cover 3 of the songs for us," Sunny said.
"Which ones?
He showed a list of the songs that their gonna sing in the movie.
Kids in America - Kim Wilde
These Dreams- Heart
I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)- Whitney Houston
"Kids In America happens during the scene where Zina makes her grand entrance after winning the dance competition at the community center, These Dreams happens when she meets her love interest, "A-Dude", and finally I Wanna Dance with Somebody happens when she and A-Dude are crowned homecoming king and queen and realized they love each other." Mr. Nesmith explained.
"Cool" Cho said, "Can't wait to perform them."
"Usually" Teal recalled, "They would film and record the songs separately."
"I know children," Jason replied, "So I'm letting you record them in my trailer."
Everyone cheered.
After they got their instruments, they headed off to the trailer to record Kids in America.
"Looking out a dirty old window
Down below the cars in the city go rushing by
I sit here alone and I wonder why
Friday night and everyone's moving
I can feel the heat but it's soothing, heading down
I search for the beat in this dirty town (downtown)
The young ones are going
(Downtown) the young ones are growing
We're the kids in America (whoa)
We're the kids in America (whoa)
Everybody lives for the music-go-round
Bright lights, the music gets faster
Look, boy, don't check on your watch, not another glance
I'm not leaving now, honey, not a chance
Hot-shot, give me no problems
Much later, baby, you'll be saying never mind
You know life is cruel, life is never kind (kind hearts)
Don't make a new story
(Kind hearts) don't grab any glory
We're the kids in America (whoa)
We're the kids in America (whoa)
Everybody lives for the music-go-round" Sunny sang
Back in the school, Cyndii was finishing up her dance routine when a spotlight fell. Luckily, Cyndii moved out of the way. "CUT!" Jason shouted.
