Share with me the blankets that your wrapped in,

Share with me the secrets that you kept in,

because it's cold inside, cold inside, it's cold inside.

Hermione hugged her burgundy jumper tighter against her petite frame, the wind that blew off the lake sifting through her hair. Her eyes explored her shoes and the grass beneath her, noticing the discrepancies of the color and the distribution of the green blades. Her cheeks were flushed and her throat was tight, her stomach constricting her latest meal. Tear stains created long pathways from the dirt on her face.

And your slowly shaking finger tips

show that you're scared like me, so

let pretend were alone.

And I no you may be scared,

and I no were unprepared,

but I don't care.

Someone joined her, but she didn't care enough to know. Their hands gently massaged her shoulders and moved closer to her, housing heat in the small spaces between them. The hands moved down her arms, and came to a close around her abdomen, resting their chin on her shoulder. At this point, Hermione knew who it was.

Tell me, tell me

what makes you think that you are invincible.

I can see it in your eyes, that you're so sure

please don't tell me that I am the only one that's vulnerable.

Impossible.

"This will never work if you don't tell me what you're feeling," she spoke softly, toying with a curly lock.

"I know, I know," he sighed. He lowered his face into the crook of her neck and breathed out deeply. "I'm sorry."

"Contrary to popular belief, I don't know everything. Especially not the kind of things that go on inside your head," Hermione turned her head looked into his grey eyes.

I was born to tell you I love you,

isn't that a song already?

I get a B in originality,

and it's true I cant go on without you.

Your smile makes me see clear,

if you could only see in the mirror what I see.

He rested his forehead against hers, closing his eyes and sighing once more. "You know I hate feeling helpless and vulnerable."

"I know," she replied simply, a small smile appearing on her face. "All I want is for you to be happy."

"I love you, Hermione."

Her hair felt cold against the back of his hand as he held the back of her neck, drawing his tongue across her bottom lip. Hermione's fingers pranced along his cheeks; her eyes squeezed shut. He looked back into her eyes and pecked her lips once more, smiling cheekily.

Slow down girl, you're not going anywhere.

Just wait around and see

maybe I am much more, you never no what lies ahead.

I promise, I can be anyone, I can be anything.

Just because you were hurt doesn't mean you shouldn't bleed.

I can be anyone, anything. I promise I can be what you need.

"Promise you'll always need me?" she asked, looking down at her shoes.

Draco gave her a close-mouthed smile, and nudged her head up. "I could never stop needing you, Hermione."
