AN: Hi I still exist.

He was pacing. Sweat poured across his face. Pain in his heart. It was the most difficult thing he would ever do. He started walking.

He knew what he was going to say to her. He practiced it several times the night before. He read the paper.

Laura. This….This is not easy to say. You have no idea how much this pains me but…. I-I can't date you anymore. We're of two different people. It's against our law to date.

I know this may not be fair for you and I agree but please listen. I care about you. I'd rather love you from far away in my heart, than mourn you as a prisoner.

I care more about your safety Laura than my pleasure. Let's face it…. Romeo and Juliet never lasted and I don't want you to lose your life like she did. Than again you are smarter than her.

I don't expect you to forgive me. I don't even expect you to listen to my words. But I want you to believe me in saying it's for your safety.

Please don't go after me because I will do everything I can to keep you away from harm. Even if it means I'm out of the picture.

I'm sorry. Truly I am.

He knocked on the door. There was no answer. He let himself in. He needed to get this over with. He knew she was home. He wondered looking for her.

"Laura?" he said from room to room. He heard sniffling.

'The bathroom?' He walked toward it.

The door was closed. He turned to leave when he heard her cries. His eyes widened. He didn't care about the consequences, she needed him. He crumpled the paper and shoved it in his pocket.

He slammed the door open. She turned. Shock on her face. Tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Laura! Are you ok?" he said before he noticed what was in her hands. His eyes widened. "Laura? Don't tell me-"

"It's positive," she said before flinging herself onto him.

AN: Just a scene that wouldn't leave my head.

And now I'm leaving again!
