Percy tried not to panic, running down the New York alley. All that was on his mind was finding the dog he'd chased for four hours down alleys and roads that he'd found and he was trying to return it to it's owner- he did not want to refer to it by name. Plus he had to get to Camp Half-Blood by car, and he didn't wanna miss his ride with Annabeth and Thalia coming along too. He got home, forgetting about the dog when he saw the little jack russel terrier with the blue collar staring up at him with pleading eyes "Come on, your coming with me. Maybe someone at where I go to camp can help you." Percy said. He reluctantly decided to take the dog with him and to camp. He wound up in the end keeping the dog at camp with him for the summer. It wouldn't matter who the original owner was. They sure as heck didn't deserve a dog that had been to a place no mortal ever got to see. It had memories its original owner didn't ever imagine.
