A/n- Hi, everyone. Um, I'm pretty new to this fandom, having only finished the books two nights ago. But my friend Casey (HopelessAddicttoWriting) dared me to write this. I hope you like it. Intentionally OOC.

So, here it goes. :-)

Tobias's POV

Sunlight is streaking through the windows in a way that seems much too bright. Though I suppose that pretty much sums up Amity. Ugh, the Amity. Sooner or later, they're going to have to join the rest of us inreality and face the harsh reality that their world isn't the perfect happy bubble they seem to believe in. They'll be more useful to the rest of us once they can do that.

Glancing around, frustration fills me. Maybe it's not the Divergents minds that work differently. Maybe it's theirs. But then, ever so cautiously, a tiny little Amity girl comes up to me, holding something in her pudgy toddler hands.

"You look mad," she says softly, now holding a piece of partially squished bread out to me. "Eat this. Momma always said it makes you feel better."

Though cautious of the Amity, I can't say no to those huge brown eyes of hers. I'd never admit it, but her little pouty face is irresistable. Plus, it can't hurt, right?

Minutes later, I notice she's right. It does make everything better. Everything even looks different. For once, the sunshine isn't annoying. It's the most glorious thing ever. No, scratch that; I see butterflies! And bubbles! And they're outside.

"Must- pop- bubbles-" After running full-speed outside into the sunshine and happiness, this is my only coherent thought. Bubbles are happy. I want bubbles!

Even better, the bubbles are coming from the top of a hill. After popping them, when my mind feels as free and floaty as they are, only one thing seems logical. Giggling as I haven't in the longest time, I throw myself faced-first, tumbling through the soft, dewy grass uncontrollably, covered in flowers.

"Best day ever!"
