A Thing Will Happen
The Tardis is parked in the living room for a change. The Doctor is in the large kitchen watching the family's washing spinning in the machine whilst Lucy checks her makeup in the dressing table mirror. "Now, since I asked you for a date. We could go to Brighton. Or the Lagoon of Stars. I've got a whole day worked out." The Doctor said happily too Lucy. "Sorry. But as you can see I've got plans." Lucy said, showing off her new outfit which included a white blouse with a thin black tie knotted halfway down her chest, black trousers with stiletto heels and is putting on a black jacket. "Have you?" he asked confused as always. "Look at me." Lucy said, turning around to show him her new outfit. "Yea, okay." he said blankly. "No. No. Look at me." Lucy said, smiling. "Yep. Looking." The Doctor said, still not getting a clue. "Seriously?" Lucy asked, feeling a bit disappointed. "Why is your face all covered in?" asked The Doctor. "Are you taller?" he asked. "Heals." Lucy replied, putting up her leg so that the Doctor could see her heals. "What, do you have to reach a high shelf?" he asked. "Right. Got to go. Gonna be late for Edmund's soccor game." said Lucy. "For a shelf?" asked the Doctor, being more serious now. "Bye." Lucy says, almost about to walk out of the door. A proper, old-fashioned telephone rings. It is the emergency one in the Tardis. "There you go. Another proper playmate." Lucy joked, walking up to the Doctor, while folding her arms together. "Hardly anyone in the universe has that number." The Doctor said confused. "Well, I've got that number." Lucy said happily. "Yes, from some woman in a shop. We still don't know who that was." The Doctor explained. "Is that her now?" Lucy asked. The Doctor walk to wear the TARDIS is and picks up the phone. "Don't." Lucy said in a cross voice. "Why not?" asked The Doctor. "Because if you answer it, something will happen. And I promised Edmund I'd be there on time." Lucy explained. "What?" asked the Doctor. "A thing." Lucy said. "Huh. It's just a phone, Lucy. Nothing happens when you answer the phone." he says and picks up the receiver.
And the next thing instead of the telephone he is holding a large worm with a tiny pair of horns by its jaws up against his face. He screams and throws it onto the round table and then Lucy also screams and throws away the worm. "Doctor?" asked Lucy confused. "Don't touch it." The Doctor commanded. "Where are we? How did we get here?"
