Yamamoto stared at the love of his life admiringly.
"I remember when I first met you," he began, voice thick with pure love. "I was in that fight with weird-brows—I forgot his name, haha—and do you remember how I collided with you? You were so strong and sturdy," he swooned. "As soon as I made contact with you, I instantly knew, it was love.
"I wouldn't give up on you after that, remember? I kept on seeking you out, ahaha. Your brothers sent me to the nurse many times, but that's okay. Because I have you here now, with thanks to Irie and Spanner." Yamamoto smiled and tried to hug his love, but he found that he couldn't. Oh well, no matter.
He gave another goofy grin, before leaning in, his lips puckered...
"...Go-gokudera...is...Yamamoto...making out with a dented wall...?"
"Tenth, I...don't really- uh, I mean, I...wow..."
"This is EXTREMELY weird!"
"Fuck, is he using tongue now?"
It was at this point Tsuna fainted.
4 Years Later
"Oh?" Irie was surprised. Yamamoto rarely communicated with him (except for that one time he had that weird request about retrieving some random wall from the Melone Base, which, FYI, was an extremely gruelling process), unless it was business orientated. In Shoichi's mind, pink envelope decorated with hearts= not mafia related.
To be honest, he was rather apprehensive of the contents. What would it be? He slowly emptied the envelope on his desk, and—
"What the fuck?"
There were three things. The first was a picture of Yamamoto patting his wall while grinning, the second was an invitation to his wedding, and the third was some sort of paper. And, as far as Irie knew, Yamamoto was single.
He decided to check the invite.
Dear Irie,
Guess what? You're invited to my wedding! I'm marrying the love of my life, and since you brought us together, you have a special seat of honour waiting in the church where my love and I will wed! Thanks to you, Wall and I have been having a wonderful relationship since you helped us overcome our barriers and be together.
Hope you come,
Yamamoto Takeshi
If Irie's brain wasn't mush already, now it was. As he numbly checked out the paper (it turned out to be the wedding information), his mind was desperately trying to reboot.
Grabbing his phone, he dialed Spanner's number.
"Spanner, did you get an—"
"Invitation? Yeah. You think this is a prank or something?" Spanner's voice, normally calm and composed, was rather shaky.
"Yamamoto would never trick us like this..."
"So that means he's actually serious?"
"...I pity Tsuna and his guardians..."
Wall80 is the bomb. No shit.
