Only the priest's voice could be heard inside the building. All the guests were respectfully silent, not wanting to miss a thing of the event held inside the cathedral. Lots of people had been invited to assist and there were even more crowding outside, hoping to catch a glimpse of what was happening at the altar. It was the wedding of the year, after all.

Mueller Vander stood next to the groom as his best man. The military man was wondering how they had ended up in such situation. He was getting married. It simply didn't make any sense. Mueller carefully studied the groom's face. There was no doubt that it was him. There was no mistaking that the blond man at his side was no other than Olivier Lenheim, the self proclaimed Hunter of love.

The priest had fallen silent and everyone was looking intently at the groom. He only had to speak a few well rehearsed words to be a married man. Olivier Lenheim, a married man. It was almost unbelievable.

As if in response to Mueller's thoughts, the atmosphere radically changed. He could hear something hitting the multicolored windows. Was it raining? He could have sworn that it had been sunny outside when he had arrived to the old cathedral a while ago. The temperature suddenly dropped as a lightning struck not far from the entrance of the cathedral, narrowly missing a few of the spectators crowding around the building. The guests inside were getting restless while some yelling was already coming from the crowd in the streets.

"I'm sorry, but I can't allow this travesty to happen."

Everybody heard that sad but firm female voice coming out of nowhere and instinctively knew it was Aidios'. Amidst the chaos, Mueller Vander couldn't help but sigh. Not even the Goddess herself could conceive Olivier settling down. Such an event would disrupt the balance in the universe.

The hitting against the windows got stronger, signaling that it had begun to hail. The glass shattered and…

Mueller woke up. He wasted no time in checking his surroundings and only allowed himself to relax when he confirmed that he was in his bedroom in the Erebonian embassy in Grancel.

"Damn Olivier. The day he gets engaged I'll have to begin preparing for the end of the world."
