Title: Blood and Moonlight

Pairing: Hannah/Fenrir

Summary: A kind of sequel to Can't Fight The Moonlight. Hannah has run away to to get Fenrir to chase after her. Werewolf Hannah.

He sniffs the air and his nose becomes flooded with her scent, a mixture of dirt, lavender and blood. Not her blood if the fresh corpse lying on the ground is anything to go by.

Hannah is nearby, he can sense it, but where is the question. Last night was her first full moon she wouldn't have gone too far from her kill they never do the first time it's the confusing animal instincts that binds them to their prey and shuts out the urge to find somewhere safe from humans.

She should have stayed with the pack for her first full moon, but no she had to run away from the camp two days before the full moon.

Fenrir had been searching for her since which meant his beta male Alphonzus was in charge of the pack and the plan to attack the Muggle village were on hold.

He had no idea what Hannah thought she was playing at but when he found her they would be having words. Just because she was his mate, it didn't mean she could do whatever she pleased.

He hears twig snap behind him and turns around slowly an there she is, his mate wearing clothes that don't belong to her.

"So you came after me then," Hannah says, with a tired grin. It is always draining after changing the first time and she should be resting, but no she's standing there with dirt on her feet and her face pale.

"What the hell were you thinking leaving camp?," Fenrir growls, and Hannah rolls her eyes, she isn't afraid of his temper nor will she pretend that she is.

"Because I knew you would come after me," Hannah begins to explain, looking him in the eyes. "It was the only way I could stop you attacking the Muggle village."

"We need more members of the pack," Fenrir hisses angrily, he knew she had objected to the attack but he hadn't thought she'd trick him to stop it.

"Our numbers grow daily and you know it. I have no objection to killing to protect ourselves or making them like us, but an unprovoked attack will only cause the pack trouble, " Hannah replies, wanting nothing more than to sleep.

"So that person that's over there they died of natural causes I suppose?," Fenrir asks snarkily.

Hannah nibbles on her bottom lip, trying to decide whether telling him the truth about it was a good idea at this point. Obviously he'd find out sooner or later, sooner was probably better.

"About that um when I killed him, he was a werewolf so I may have started a war with another pack."

"You did it on purpose," Fenrir accuses. "If the pack is at war with another pack, then we will be too busy fighting to attack the Muggle village. "

"The pack leader is named Basillus and you can defeat him easily. Which means his pack will yours and our numbers more than doubled," Hannah explains, grinning sheepishly.

"You used to be sweet," Fenrir says, as Hannah moves closer to him.
