"Mia wait!" yelled Mickey.

"Please, just give me another chance. I didn't mean to hurt you. It was a mistake! Please Mia…"

"You had your chance Mickey, and you ruined it! We had something, something good," she sobbed.

Mickey ran to catch up with her. He didn't blame her. He could see how it would look. He hadn't done it on purpose though. After all, he loved her; he would never do anything to hurt her.

"Mia, I'm so sorry. Look, why don't we go to the café up the road. Get a coffee. Maybe we can work some thing out. Please Mia. All I want is another chance." Mickey was almost in tears by now.

He would never have actually cried but he loved her so much… so much so, he would do absolutely anything for her.

"Mickey, maybe we should go out for coffee. I have to tell you something, something you probably won't want to know."

Mickey panicked. Why had she changed her mind? What did she want to tell him? They walked up the road. Mickey carried on wondering what she wanted. It seemed sudden of her to say yes. Although, he had wanted her to forgive him he never actually expected her to.

"Listen to me Mia, if you're just coming for coffee so you can have another go at me, forget it. I've said I'm sorry and if that's not enough then what is. All I want is for you to be happy and if you're not content with me then that's ok. You deserve better anyway. I appreciate you putting up with me for so long" Mickey walked off.

"Mickey, wait. I wasn't here to have another go. I have something important to tell you. I don't know whether you're gonna like the sound of this but…

"But what Mia, are you ill?"

"No, it's not that. It's just that… well to put it short I'm pregnant…"

"What? You're pregnant. Mia you must be joking. Please, tell me you are joking. I am not ready for this right now. I have loads of stuff on…

Man! I cannot believe this! Are you sure the baby's mine?"

"I'm so sorry Mickey. Yes. I think I'm 6 weeks now. I can't do anything now Mickey. I'll understand if you just want to leave.

"No. I won't. I'll stick by you Mia. I'm gonna be a great dad. Much better than my own. I can't let this baby grow up without a father. "

"Thanks, you don't know how…"

Mickey put his finger on her lips and gently kissed. He knew that he shouldn't but it just felt so right. Him and Mia. Back together again
