A/N: This is a drabble fic from a prompt over on Tricky Raven. Enjoy!

As always SM owns all. I borrowed them for a bit. ;)

"Please…will you just hear me out?" I pleaded with her. I've never intended the pain that she has had had to endure. My most fervent wish after all was said and done was to have her back in my life once again if only as a friend. She had to know that I could never truly live my life without her.

"I just can't do this." She shook her head, refusing to give my idea a moment's consideration. "You're asking me to do something that will only hurt me worse than I already do." Her voice broke. "I don't have it in me." She turned her head away from me as if looking into my eyes caused her more heart ache.

Moving to her stand in front of her, I kneeled down as I had done one other time in our lifetime, only my intent was now very different. "Leah, you know that I still love you. You can feel it through our link when we're phased. I never meant to hurt you and I had no idea how to end our relationship without causing you some sort of anguish." My mouth moved into my familiar smirk. "You know I'm an idiot when it comes to you."

A dry chuckle escaped her lips. Within seconds, her shoulders began to shake in soft laughter. She raised a hand to her eyes with a heavy sigh as she finally accepted my words. I could feel her release the pent up hatred that she had been feeling for me and Emily flowing out of her.

"Fine, I'll give it a try, but you need to understand that I'm already sick of her damned blueberry muffins." Leah smiled genuinely at me. "You know my favorite flavor is apple cinnamon."

Nodding, I grinned back at her. My heart expanded at the thought of having this woman back in my life. "I'll ask her to switch it up a bit, maybe make different flavors, ok?"

Leah walked over to the back of my truck and sat down on the dropped gate, leaning forward, watching as her toes scuffed the ground below. "I do have one condition and you have to follow through or this whole thing is off." Her eyes darted back to mine.

"Ok, what would that be?" I claimed the seat next to her, leaning forward on the gate in the same manner as she was.

"Why now? Why are you asking this of me when you two could have moved on without another thought of me?"

Without a single hesitation, I answered. "Emily is pregnant and she wants you to be our child's godmother. You've always been like a sister to her and she will accept no other as a replacement."

"A baby?" Leah's eyes teared up. She had always wanted children, but now, things were different for her. She nodded fervently. "We're just friends." Leah smiled that bright Clearwater smile

"Thank you Lee Lee." I was the luckiest man alive.
