The bright rays of the warm sun pierced through the wispy clouds, making all living creatures sing with joy. The breeze was light and cool to the touch, the leaves danced around as if sensing the cheerful commotion that was taking place. The perfect day for a wedding.

Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga's wedding.

The crowd roared as the couple gently walked down from the Hyuga's household with a huge smile on their faces. Whistles and the loud 'CONGRATULATIONS!' filled the air. Of course, the pinkette cheered her heart out as well. Her best friend was happy, so she should feel the same way. Yet…

No matter how much she tried to unleash her voice to the highest volume, it always diminished whenever the blonde snuggled closer to his bride. No matter how much she tried to scream "CONGRATULATIONS NARUTO!" her voice would crack and refuse to escape from her throat. No matter how much she tried to put on her best smile, tears would flow down instead. Tears of grief and regret would slowly spill out. Why? Why was she feeling this way? She was supposed to be happy for him. He finally has a family. He finally has a wife. She should be smiling for him, not crying. She tried so hard. She really did. She tried so hard to laugh with the crowd, she tried to smile with her sensei and with her friends…

But, it hurt. Her chest stung whenever she did. The only person who seemed to notice her pain was Sai. He had the same smile he always did, the fake one. He really was a pro at fake smiles, his cheers sounded real too. However, the pinkette knew better. All those smiles and cheers that he managed to make out were fake too. He glanced down at the medic, his eyes apologizing for misleading her with his words long time ago.

"Even I can tell that he really loves you!"

Sai's voice rang through her head as Naruto leaned in to kiss his lovely bride.

A small smile tugged at Sakura's lip.

Liar.
