Having a best friend at college might be one of the best possibilities to happen in the world. What about having your younger brother, whom you acknowledged as your best friend as well, studying under the same major with you? Zoro could possibly be the happiest college student alive for living in such condition. What made his whole college life even more exciting was, Zoro, along with his younger brother, Sanji, were known as the hottest sibling at the Medical Faculty building.

Though Zoro and Sanji were bonded with their 'family' title, basically, no one would never escape the difficulty in meeting partners referring to the tight schedule and assigments. Struggling pretty hard for the third semester, Zoro wasn't even able to touch home before 6 pm, after being at college since 8 am. As a fresh man, Sanji was also struggling to catch up with what it was really like to be a college student as quick as he could. They were busy with their own activities, but, brother still means brother. Thirty minutes at the afternoon would be nothing but perfect for Zoro and Sanji having a cup of Americano and vanila latte. Or, a plate of Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki on the street of Tokyo.

Zoro loved painting, while Sanji was really into cooking. Though these handsome and smart-ass brothers shared 180-degree difference in this and that aspect, they were destined to be matched each other, thanks to a sport named football. Yes, a sport where Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Juventus, and Paris Saint German existed. Their favorite club was Barcelona. If the two weren't born to be childern of doctor dad and doctor mom, they would abandon anything to be professional footballers.

"But, it's going to be awesome, right, to be a doctor and a footballer at the same time?" Zoro asked to the mirror on the wall, one day when he and his younger brother washed up before going to bed.

"Don't you realize we also have this great appearance?" Sanji added without taking his off his reflection, while caressing his clean face. Satisfied..

Zoro turned to Sanji with surprised mimic. Did he disagree with Sanji this time, or what?

"Exactly." Zoro said with his thumb pointed at Sanji.

One more thing Zoro and Sanji had in common: (over)confidence.

These days, Zoro and Sanji had to admit that the thing that caught their attention the most was not the medical-related subject, or girls. It was all about football. In less than three months, there would be a huge football championship of all universities in the city of Tokyo. Each university had to send one representative team to partitcipate. The team players didn't have to come from the same major and entrance year. The lineup and overall team construction wasn't the promotor's to concern about. All the players had to do was fighting 'til the end.

The winner team could grab the spectacular prizes. One included point that each team would extremely die for was the tickets to watch Japan's national team versus Indonesia's national team at the Tokyo's National Olympic Stadium live. Following this info, everyone's heart might race, and their willing to succeed was unbeatable. Zoro and Sanji were also beyond triggerred. Watching the big match will be amazing, but, best of all, what they two wanted to achieve wholeheartedly was the victory. The joyfulness of winning a prestigious football competition. The pride of being on the top over their rivals on the field they were truly in love with. Zoro and Sanji wished they could join the hype and harvest their effort together.

Mr. Luis as the head of football extracurricular in the Medical faculty got more and more jobs to do these times. He had to recruit the most potential goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and strikers to be able to create the strongest football team to be sent to the national championship three weeks from now. Some early selections had been examined relly well. Until this afternoon, the faculty had down for 10 most anticipated players.

The University Of Tokyo owned ten faculties in total. For this national football championship, each faculty had to bring, maximally, two students to be united for the final representative team. This had been pretty hard, huh? But, guess what? The siblings made it to the ultimate selection phase that would be held at the college's dome tonight. One more step and their dream to be a part of the competion wouldn't be just a dream. One more step and their dream to play as a footballer, and win, will be pursued.

Ten medical students were divided into two teams for tonight's last qualification. Each consisted of five players. It was more likely to be a modified futsal, with exact five players but no goalkeeper. It was announced yesterday that the position had been taken over by two stunning students from Science Faculty. Since it all amost reached its end, Mr. Luis didn't really stress on the game rules and others; he just wanted to the boys to play well and, specifically, be outstanding. This night, it would be clear who deserve to be in such important opprtunity.

Zoro was picked to be the captain of team A, while his friend at class, Marc, was picked to be the captain of team B. Mr. Luis gave them the right to pick which one went to which team. Right before Mr. Luis blew the starting whistle, he reminded these people that they didn't have to feel burdened after all. Though some of them would, unfortunately, not be there in the championship, the dream of being a good footballer stayed still.

"Be relaxed, like you, guys, have no idea of what selection you are in nor what championship you are going to enter," Mr. Luis said. Everyone inside the dome laughed.

"Yet, be brave. From now on, I will concentrate on which players stand out the most, and eventually help them to run after their dreams. Well, after all, you, guys, are already a winner." Mr. Luis's encouragement stroke right into everyone's body. They all clapped and set them to their own positions.

Zoro and Sanji were on the same team.

Two minutes of injury time didn't seem to make the tables turned. Team B led against team A. Marc was the one who scored the goal, that might be the only goal tonight. It was only goal for team B, but, that had been enough to take the players to have bigger chance to steal Mr. Luis's attention.

Due to the intense situation, it was justifiable to say that each one play felt nevous. But, what did happen? Did you skip your energy drink or did you just screw up your performance? Sanji messed up almost everything that each player of team A would've never imagined to happen. One foul was already terrible, but, the amount increased during the second half. The four others have tried to give him well-praised assists, but, Sanji didn't seem to know how to excecute the ball well.

Team B won and celebrated in such overflowing atmosphere. Mr. Luis declared Marc and Munir as the men of the match, and everyone knew what would happen next. After appreciating the hard work, Mr. Luis insisted that, if he had that power, he wanted to take everyone there tonight to the championship. He said, "Let's just cherish every moment and go to the stadium together." But, Mr Luis didn't have that power. Neither did his students.

The night was pleasantful for some and saddening for the rest.

Especially when Sanji saw Zoro putting back his tears in the changing room.

It was cold right after the sun set. It had been a while since the last time Zoro and Sanji went out together. That night built an invisible wall between them, so that they couldn't be close to each other like the way they used to. It was a calm Friday night, so Sanji asked Zoro to breathe some fresh air outside and have some sips of hot beverages.

Zoro had a random seat on the ground, facing the river. Zoro arrived on the spot first after finishing up some college stuffs. Frankly, he was mesmerized by the beauty of Kamogawa at Night in Kyoto. He could feel the cold air softly touched his face. It was like he'd never felt that happy before. It was like a long, long time for him.

"So late." Zoro sighed.

He checked his watch over and over again. Time flew, but, the person he waited hadn't came. Sanji hadn't came.

"Does he walk from home or what?" Zoro murmured.

Zoro was at the library, looking for some journal and other references, when Sanji asked him out. Sanji said he would take Shinkansen from the nearest station from home, and so would Zoro from where he actually was. It'd been minutes or hours, Zoro didn't even notice, but, Sanji hadn't came.

"Sorry, the coffee shop was crowded as hell."

Finally, Sanji showed up. He walked to where Zoro sat while holding two cups of hot coffee, as Zoro looked up into who seemed to talk to him.

"You are lost or what? You didn't even answer my call." Zoro seemed to be little bit annoyed.

"Sorry, phone is dead. Thought will be nicer to bring the coffee here." Sanji said while having a seat beside Zoro. He lent one cup for Zoro to drink. The two then sipped the coffee enjoyably.

The siblings, who used to be cheerful when it came to meet one another, were now really quiet. The night went late, the cups were even empty already. The siblings didn't express any sign of having a topic to discuss, but, they didn't bother to sit there and kept being quiet.

Sanji smiled and opened up his mouth to speak.

"The previous game…"

Zoro turned his face to another side.

"I messed up. Sorry."

Sanji tried to make an eye contact with Zoro, but, it didn't work out. He sighed and threw his head down.

"You know I'm capable. And if I didn't mess up, we both could go further." Sanji spoke up while still putting his chin down.

Zoro played hesitantly with his empty cup.

"I saw you mad at me on the field. Then, I saw you really sad in the changing room back then. I was also sad, and knowing that I'm not the only person who got extremely disappointed, I thought I don't deserve to move on,"

Sanji turned his face again to Zoro.

"Sadly the person is you."

Zoro smirked. Listening to what Sanji had said, he got enlightened somehow. Then, he smiled.

"It's okay. I messed up as well." Zoro finally spoke up with a bittersweet smile and plain seeing.

"I felt guilty and I still am. I think I should take all the blame yet each time I apologize, it won't be enough. I wish I could do something to correct my mistakes and make us better."

"No, you can't."

Sanji got frozen.

"No, you don't have to. I said it's okay." Zoro continued. He turned his face to Sanji to make sure he meant it. Sanji smiled. An invisible knife that was stabbed in his heart suddenly felt like it was taken away.

"So…," Sanji shyly looked into the other side of river. Zoro waited.

"Are we cool?" Sanji looked straight into Zoro's eyes. Pulling out a cute smile would be effective.

Zoro giggled.

"We are the best siblings ever, you know?" Zoro continued on being enlightend while giving Sanji a friendly fist on his arms. Sanji laughed.

"Yes, we are cool." Zoro put his cup and leaned back to the ground with his palms.

Another silence came over, but, Sanji broke it once again.

"If you could turn back time and have another right to choose whoever to be in your team, who will it be?"

Sanji put his eyes on Zoro. Would he regret asking such silly question to him or not, he was going to find out later when Zoro looked back at him, spoke up and smiled very sure.

"I'll choose you."

"I will always choose you. Nothing has to be changed."

Zoro and Sanji felt like they were reborn. By that conversation, at the side of Kamogawa River, they felt lighter in their heart and head. Everything was just back into its right place.

"You know what, you didn't have to cry alone back then. You could go asking me to cry with you like, cry out loud, and nag like a kid lost his toys…" Sanji tried to melt down the frozen and awkward relation.

Zoro and Sanji laughed. The brothers hugged and left for Tokyo.
