"Mama, I don't want to" said the boy. "Hush Tenshi. Please behave yourself and I love you with all my heart" his mother said as she left him outside of Meiou High. Tenshi sat there with a sweatshirt with a hood on it and a trench coat to cover his tail. As he sat there the bell rang letting the students out for the day.
As normal Suichi Minamino has his group of fangirls following him from the building. "See you on Monday Suichi" one of the girls said. He nodded and looked to his left. He knelt down in front of Tenshi and tapped him gently. "Excuse me, are you alright?" he asked him. Tenshi looked up at him with a tear stained face. "My mama left me a while ago and she hasn't come back yet. I'm scared and I want to go home" he told him. Kurama nodded and understood. "Do you have a name?" he asked him. "Mama told me never to talk to strangers, but I guess I can tell you. It's Tenshi. What's yours?" he asked. "Suichi Minamino, but my friends call me Kurama and so can you. Let me take you home and get you something to eat" he said as he held out his hand to him. Tenshi took his hand and stood up. "Tenshi, when we get to my house, please call me Suichi, I still live with my mother. I'm only sixteen" he told Tenshi. "I'm only twelve and mama left me" he said near tears. "It's alright Tenshi... what was the last thing your mother said to you?" Kurama asked him. "That she loved me and to behave myself" he said. "Sounds like good advice. When we get inside, please take off your shoes" Kurama told him. "Okay" Tenshi said as Kurama led him inside. Once inside Kurama found a not from Shiori she would be late. "Mother will be late. Are you hungry Tenshi?" Kurama asked. "Hai, and hot too" he said. "Take off your coat and sweatshirt" Kurama told him as went into the kitchen to get them something to eat. Tenshi took off his coat and set it on the back of the chair and then took off the sweatshirt and shook his head slightly. When Kurama came back in he almost dropped two plates of food that he had. He saw a spitting image of him as Youko around that age. He sat down the food in front of Tenshi and sat down to eat. When they were both done Kurama took the dishes and washed them. He grabbed all of Tenshi's stuff, grabbed Tenshi and took him up to his room. Tenshi looked around room and looked thrilled.
"Kurama, you have a nice room" Tenshi told him. "Thank you, I think for now you should stay up here while I'm at school and please stay out of mother's site" he said. "So many rules. What am I supposed to do if I get hungry? What if I get bored?" he asked. "Let's see, when I was your age I liked to color. Do you like to color Tenshi?" Kurama asked. "I don't think I've colored before" he said. "Tenshi, we're going to have to go shopping for you. Books, clothes, crayons, coloring books, paper, stuff like that. Do you know how to read and write?" Kurama asked him. Tenshi shook his head no. "Would you like to learn?" Kurama questioned. "Why? Mama will be back to pick me up, I know it...so I don't see why I should" Tenshi countered. Kurama sighed and sat on his bed. "Tenshi, come here" he said as he patted the spot beside him. "Tenshi, what if your mother doesn't come back? What then?" he asked. "I-I don't know" he answered honestly. "Actually I know where you can go while I'm at school" Kurama said. "Oh, where?" "Genkai's temple. I'm sure you could learn a lot from her without even trying" Kurama told him and Tenshi agreed.
