Hi! This is my first Transformers story, I'm not sure if this is going to be a one-shot or evolve into a longer story, will just have to see what people want On a more serious note, this story is dedicated to the families of servicemen and women, I thank you for your loved one's sacrifices and for your own sacrifice.

Disclaimer: I do not own Transformers; the credit belongs to Hasboro and TakaraTomy.

4 AM. Definitely too early to be up, Annabelle, had other ideas however. Her cries echoed in the room, they were cries of a baby who couldn't sleep. What's the saying? Like mother like daughter, I couldn't sleep either; today Will was coming home.

Will. How long had it been since I'd last seen my husbands handsome face? Those eyes that could see into my very soul and voice that could calm my darkest fears had not been found in my life for far too long.

I reached Annabelle's cradle, picking her up I wished for what had to be the millionth time for Will to just come home. To come home and meet his daughter. To spend time with his wife. To assure me that he was really alive?

I'd received the call form the Air Force, Will survived the attack on the base, but wouldn't be home for a couple of weeks. It's now been three months. My relief at him being safe had quickly turned into anger. Three months he's been stateside and not once has he called, written, or stopped by. Did he not miss me as much as I miss him? No, I know that he does, the only reason he hasn't come home to meet his daughter and see his wife is because someone is stopping him. When I find out who, they're going to rue the day they were born.

Annabelle's cries stopped as I rocked her back and forth, laying her down in the crib I walked back to the bed. Burying myself under the cover's my hands folded of their own accord as I sent out a silent plea for Will to come home soon.

My name is Sarah Lennox, I am a soldier's wife. I'm supposed to be strong, hold down the home front, and not show fear in order to support my husband. Right now however, I'm by myself in my own home and there is nothing to stop my tears from flowing down my face.
