Arthur adjusted his tie and walked into the boardroom for the meeting. As he pushed open the door, he bumped into Matthew, spilling his coffee all over his red sweater.
"Oh! Matthew! I'm terribly sorry!" Arthur cried
"H-HOT!" Matt screeched.
As soon as the words slipped from Matt's mouth, America sashayed into the room and quickly spun on his heel so he was facing the other two.
"Oh are you talking about me? Ya know, cause I'M so hot!" He boasted.
His response was met with two very unamused expressions. Arthur grabbed a handkerchief from his pocket and tried to blot out the stains before they set in.
"I will buy you a sweater, I promise! I just feel so so-" He blubbered.
"It's fine, honestly." He said (In a typical quiet fashion)
After that whole affair Arthur felt terrible. As he took his seat, he felt something sharp pierce his backside.
"OW!" He yelled.
Off to the right he spotted Alfred and Gilbert laughing hysterically. They obviously had something to do with the pin on his seat.
"What are you blokes laughing at?!" Arthur said harshly.
The laughter stopped abruptly. The two pranksters looked at him as if he had slapped an infant. Arthur's face reddened and he suddenly felt very foolish.
"Jeez, Arty it was just a joke! Ya don't need to be so uptight!" Al said.
Arthir flicked the pin off of his seat and tried to sink through it. He wished he could just disappear.
"Am I really that uptight?" He wondered.
Ludwig began the meeting like usual, with a lot of unnecessary yelling and fistpounding on the table. One day he was going to break the damn thing! The meeting carried on with much disagreement about all kinds of things. He also received some dirty looks from his "friends". Why was nothing going his way today? Why did everyone have something against him?
Ludwig slammed his fist on the table and declared that a coffee break was in order. After he said that Matthew looked at him and Arthur found it hard to meet his gaze.
Slowly, everyone filed out of the room and Arthur was left alone. After a few minutes in silence he rose from his seat and went to get a small something to drink. As he walked past one of the break rooms, he heard his name.
"Yeah! Arthur is so uptight!" It was Al's voice. "Like seriously, I don't even know he can walk." Before he spoke again he pulled a cheeseburger out of his pocket and took a bite. "Anyways, he is a total prick."
Arthur couldn't bear to hear another word. He ran from the building and walked to his car. He climbed in and slammed the door behind him and began to sob. Sure all that happened wasn't too terrible. But hearing that from Al, that was the worst. Al was one of his beat friends why would he eveneven say such a thing?
In the middle of his episode he heard a knock on the window. He looked up and was face to face with Matt. But why?
"Hey I saw you leave and I just wanted to let you know All was wrong you're not that uptight, you just have more manners than him." He said.
"You really think so?" Arthur sniffled.
"Y-yes. Definitely." He stuttered.
Arthur stepped out of the car and the two friends walked back to the meeting, arm in arm.
