Such A Good Friend

When Gabriel made it back home he raced through the hall way and to his private office. Ladybug and Chat noir once again beat him once again, but that did not matter. What mattered was how he escaped the five heroes this time.

Mayura or rather Nathalie had risked her live by putting on the peacock miraculous. He explicitly told her not to. And yet...he had to get to her as soon as possible or else... he did not want to finish that thought.

As he entered his office he rushed to the portrait of his wife and pressed down the hidden buttons on it. The elevator could not go fast enough (why did he have to build it so dramatically slow?) as he made his way down to his lair. He will not call it evil lair because what he did was not evil, he was just... giving favours... yes that's it, he was giving favours.

All thoughts of justifying himself were lost as he finally reached the bottom of the elevator. He did not like what he saw, Nathalie his oldest, dearest and onliest friend laying on the ground, hurled up in a ball coughing violently.

Without a second thought he lifted her up bridal stile and back to the elevator. Up in his office he placed his barely conscious assistant into the nearest armchair. He crouched down before her and looked, pointing his ever present frown towards her ."I told you never to use the peacock miraculous." his concerned voice sounded through the office. "I had no choice sir, i had to safe you."

And he understood. He understood fully. Watching a friend die is the most horrible experience he ever lived through. He did not want that for Nathalie. Even though they probably would not have killed him.

Nathalie leaned back with another coughing fit. It was his turn to say something. "It's damaged it's way to dangerous." He wanted to shout at her for her foolishness but he could not raise his voice. What if she had left him? What would he do if she left him as we...

It was a good thing Nathalie decided to speak again, otherwise he might have drifted of into nostalgic memories of his wife and the hole she left.

"I want to help you, all the way to the end." he could not stay mad at her, not for this, and not for anything else. He ignored the tingling in his stomach, he was too worried about her.

"Thank you for your support Nathalie" his frown disappeared as he put his hand hers "you are such a good friend"

She winced in pain. 'The miraculous must still be causing trouble'.

A/N: Sorry I did not write anything for a week (not that anyone cares) I am quite busy and a little ashamed of my last piece. I will take more care to check my writing- as in grammar, spelling, punctuation and that my stories make actual sense (again sorry).

I hope you like this. If you do tell others. If you don't tell me.
