He can feel the slow consuming emptiness that burns much like a flame

It travels from his insides and through his veins

Nothing can stop it as it constricts his heart

Making breathing difficult as he drags the razor down his arm

A numbing effect that cannot die down

The sting of the sharp point cannot be felt in which makes him frown

He wishes for tears that boils behind his eyes

A gasp of breath to fuel his lies

It shouldn't have ended much like it did

Wishing the road he took wasn't quite like this

How could this have happened

Why did it all went so very wrong

This wasn't what he was asking for

Not one bit at all

Love was all he wanted

Something to give him hope

A reason for living

But not with this much pain

He was just wanting a lover's touch

A person to hold him with confident arms

Slow shy kisses to cover his skin

Love bites and hickies which he can wear all around town

Why couldn't he have been more brave

Instead of watching the person he loves in someone else's embrace

No one to blame except for himself

Once bright honey eyes now full of melancholy

Dull and damaged that cannot heal quickly enough for his tastes

He's been told many times before

If you keep pursuing that man your heart will be torn

But he was stubborn and thick headed too

So he didn't listen to anyone at all

Just continuing on much like a fool

And as he watches with the brooding man laughing and smiling with that dame

Why couldn't it have been with him that made that man so joyous

No more without that blame that hovers that man since that unfaithful day

So right now he just watches from afar

With unshed tears that lingers for too long

Though he wishes them happiness that he knows he cannot encroach

For now he will just leak with his tears and his blood

I just wish this story that I have made

Couldn't have been happy and as bright as sun rays

But right now that isn't possible

So because unlike you I can hear that fragile heart

That has already been cracked by his mother's death just a few years past

And all of that stress when werewolves came to town

With fangs and claws and bloody backgrounds

Stiles just wishes that it was him by that broody man's side

But that isn't going to happen

At least in this lifetime

He could only see with sadden eyes

That Derek is happy by that woman's side

One inhale and slow exhale

Stiles took a breath

The slow spreading emptiness that numbs his limbs

With a sluggish heart that is so alone

Crumbled pieces thrown in the wind

He just wishes that it ended so very differently

Instead of him lying in bed

And his blood soaked in his sheets

Good bye he said to the world

With just a picture in his head of Derek smiling at that girl

His arm slightly raised now fell dead by his waist

Now this is where my ending takes place

Of a boy whom fell in love with a man

A werewolf no less that has a dark past
