I own nothing but the plot
"I will not!"
"You might."
"Scorpius, give it a rest." Their mother sighed.
"I only said she might be. There's nothing wrong with that. She might be in Gryffindor."
"I will not!" Lyra screamed.
"She won't." Draco Malfoy entered the room, highly amused by his children'should quarrel. "Slytherin for sure. She's a Malfoy."
Hermione sighed at her husband's arrogance. "They're my kids too, and I was a Gryffindor."
"And never have I questioned what on earth the sorting hat was thinking more. You would have done best in my house."
"I would not!"
"Mum, give it a rest." Scorpius mocked his mother's words.
The family burst into laughter as Draco, Hermione, Scorpius, Lyra, and Carina Malfoy stepped out of their muggle car and into Kings Cross Station.
"Get out of bed, Ron!"
The Weasley groaned at his wife's command.
"Do I have to?"
"Yes!" Lavender exclaimed. "We've got to take Hugo and Rose to Kings Cross! They can't miss that train! Harry and Ginny are outside waiting for us!"
"Fine." He grumbled as he rolled out of bed. Lavender performed a spell that changed his pajamas to muggle clothes- the one spell she had mastered due to sheer necessity- and they ran to the door with their children.
"Thought you'd never make it." Ginny Potter was, as usual, fed up with her brother. After a few more rounds of snapping at her brother, to which he replied with increasingly dim-witted comebacks, Harry cleared his throat.
"Sorry to interrupt, but the kids will miss the train if we don't hurry."
Everyone muttered in agreement and they grasped hands. Harry, Ginny, James, Altus, and Lily Potter, as well as Lavender, Ron, Hugo, and Rose Weasley apparated as one to the train station.
The Potters and Weasleys ran through the solid brick wall that hid platform 9 3/4 from muggle eyes. First went Harry with 12 year old James and 11 year old Albus, then Ginny with 9 year old Lily. Next went Ron with 12 year old Hugo and Lavender with 11 year old Rose.
"Ow! You stepped on my foot, Dad!"
"Shush, Hugo."
Ron looked around the platform. Ginny rolled her eyes. He had done the same thing last year.
"I don't think she's here, Ron." Harry gently told his best friend. Ron's hopeful face fell. He had been looking for a bushy head of brown hair, just like he did at every wizard event he attended. Everyone present- besides Lavender- knew just what he was trying to do. Ron had been trying to locate Hermione ever since their nasty breakup 13 years ago when Hermione had walked in on him snagging a blonde witch. He had been angry that she had thrown off their engagement ring when she saw this, and he yelled that it didn't matter because they weren't married yet anyway. She had disapparated and no one had heard from her since.
Ron had tried lying that she had been the cheater, but no one really believed him- except Lavender, who he had gone crawling back to after Hermione had left him. Ginny obviously still held that against him, blaming him that she hadn't seen her best friend in so long.
The adults, chatting amongst themselves, failed to notice that the children had disappeared from their parents' sides.
Don't worry, another chapter will be up soon! I should work on my Harry Potter/OUAT crossover, or my other fic, Mistletoe, but this idea was in my head and I had to write it. Or better yet, I should work on my homework...
... just kidding. I'm not gonna do my homework. I'm probably going to write another chapter.
