Lets give this a try shall we?
Let me first say that this story is based off of the TV show, I haven't seen it in a while so it will probably be a little different. I have not seen season 3 yet, although I will try to when I can. This is purely something that I wanted to try, lets hope I don't fail .

Prologue

The bright red lights on the digital clock read 9:03, reaching out I managed to turn off the alarm before its annoying beeping could jar me from the peaceful sleep I was currently in. Sitting up I looked around my dark room. Everything was where it should be. Stepping lightly onto the wooden floor I made my way to the window. Pale hands reached for the warm blood red drapes that kept the sun from flooding the room. I breathed in as I prepared myself for the sun. My heart raced under my pale chest. Opening my eyes I threw open the red walls and let the light enter.

Intro.

The sounds from the city could be heard clearly from the top of the building. It seemed that Dallas woke up when the sun went down. Music and laughter filled the air, cars and their hum from the roads collided with all other sounds to create a beautiful sound. No one would know what I am talking about. They all stay on the ground where the blended sounds are loud and over bearing, trying to fight for space.

No one knew of this place, where I sat. At the top of the only vampire hotel in Dallas, the tallest building in the city, that's where I sat. On the edge, listening and watching the world below my feet. I knew I was safe, no one looked up, and even if they did, no one would see me. I am simply too high up. Another thing to consider, if someone saw me is that no one would care. Even if I did decide to jump, no one was here to stop me, no one at the bottom telling me no.

I have long wanted attention, yet at the same time I hate it. I find comfort here, on this building. Because even though it is dangerous for me, I know that I will be safe. No one knows I come here, if they did I would be labeled as a fang banger. Set apart from my family. Yes, my family hates vampires with a passion. I don't believe what they believe, but I have to play along.

Sighing I stand up and take a step over the edge.

It is amazing how I can think of a story while writing the intro. No this does not end right here. There will be more. : ) Review, tell me what you think of it. :P
