Kaylee Jones smiled as she set the bottle down in the middle of the circle of girls. The other girls watched her in curiosity. Kaylee's stormy gray eyes glanced at each girl in the circle, taking note of all of them.

On her left sat Sky, the beautiful girl from Warbler with amber eyes and copper hair. On her right was Lani, with smooth olive skin, straight black hair, and the same amber eyes as Sky. On Lani's right was Meghan, another pretty girl with curly red hair and piercing green eyes. Sitting on the other side of Meghan was Scarlet, another girl from Warbler with the signature orange eyes, and long wavy blonde hair who seemed to be the same age as Lani.

"The rules of the game are simple," Kaylee said finally, after she knew she had all the girls' attentions. "Someone will spin the bottle in the center, and whoever it lands on, they have to kiss!" There were a couple murmurs from the others, but no one seemed against it. "I'll go first, to demonstrate." Kaylee said.

She placed a hand on the bottle, and with a flick of her wrist, it was spinning quickly. After a while, the bottle came to a stop pointing at Scarlet, whose face quickly turned bright red. She let out a laugh when Kaylee leaned over to give her a kiss on the cheek. Kaylee leaned back onto her knees and smiled. "Now it's someone else's turn to spin the bottle. We'll just go clockwise."

Thankfully everyone knew what "clockwise" meant, and Kaylee didn't have to explain it. Sky reached a hand out for the bottle, spinning it the same way she had seen Kaylee do. Kaylee watched with anticipation to see who it would land on, and was only a little disappointed when the bottle pointed at Lani. Sky and Lani exchanged a quick kiss, and then it was Scarlet's turn to spin the bottle. When it landed on herself, the whole group laughed and Scarlet kissed the back of her own hand.

Then it was Meghan's turn. The bottle stopped spinning and landed on Lani, and both girls blushed when Meghan kissed Lani. Kaylee hooted, much to the embarrassment of Lani. When it was Lani's turn to spin the bottle, her face turned bright red when the bottle landed on Meghan. Kaylee couldn't help but laugh a little.

"It's like the bottle wants you two to kiss." She giggled.

"Shut up," Lani whispered, her face hidden behind her hands.

Finally it was Kaylee's turn to spin the bottle again, and she happily spun it. Her heart pounded as the bottle spun around and around, almost a blur. She secretly willed it to point to Sky, and her heart thudded in her chest. Kaylee squeezed her eyes shut, a smile plastered on her scarred face. When she opened her eyes, the bottle had finally come to a stop. She could barely contain her excitement when she saw it had landed on Sky.

A small smile formed on Sky's face, and her cheeks turned red. She closed her amber eyes and closed her lips, and Kaylee leaned forward just slightly to kiss her. Secretly, Kaylee wished the moment could last forever, but she pulled away from the kiss after only a few seconds. She quickly glanced away from Sky, hoping that wasn't awkward for her.

Lani grinned at her mischievously, tempted to hoot the way Kaylee had. When she opened her mouth to say something, Meghan grabbed her hand, making her freeze in place. Lani buried her face in her free hand, not bothering to try and free her other hand from Meghan's. Scarlet laughed, disturbing the silence and causing the rest of the girls to erupt into giggles that continued until someone suggested snacks. Kaylee couldn't stop smiling. It had been so long since she had had a sleepover with friends.
