Summary: Two new Charmed Ones have just come into their powers. How will Piper and Phoebe cope with two younger sisters. who have a lot more secrets than the Halliwells realize?

The Innocents

"Can you please tell me what the hell is going on?" Piper Halliwell demanded, waving a hand towards the closed attic door. Outside she could hear the chatter of her younger sister Phoebe talking to the two innocents that they were supposed to save. Her mother, Patty, stood out from the group in the opened third floor, mainly because she seemed to be transparent. The beautiful brunette sighed dramatically and swept across the room to Piper's side.

"Honey, I know this is a lot to take in, but you have to believe me."

"Believe you?!" Piper practically screamed. "Mom, you just waltz in here with your - ghostliness, on the day of my older sister's funeral, and tell me that two innocents we've been trying to save for the past week are actually two more Halliwells?"

"You know I would never lie to you." Patty said sadly. Piper shook her head in disbelief, tears forming in her eyes.

"I know, Mom, but." "Piper, I know this is tough. Get mad at it all you want, cry about it, but don't fight it. You have to take care of your baby sisters now."

"But. I don't know if I can be the older sister. I never knew how."

"Piper, you have been the older sister to Phoebe for over twenty years. Ask her. She'll remind you."

Then Patty disappeared in a sparkle of white lights, smiling softly to her oldest daughter as she went. Piper, still in complete shock, ignored the tears falling down her cheeks and tried to remember the last time she had smiled.
