Forever & Always My Love
Chapter One: New Living Arrangements
"Lois, what are you doing? Your father is right downstairs." Clark said as she began to slowly unbutton his jeans. But with her usual charming smile she just chuckled and continued to take off his clothes, that smile and laugh was one that even the man-of-steel couldn't resist even if he tried. Lois knew he would give in and she would win every time without a fight.
She began to kiss Clark passionately and every kiss seemed to take her breath away. With his hands caressing her cheeks, she found herself weak in the knees. Pressed against the wall Clark had nowhere to go and he was left to succumb to Lois's will. With her legs wrapped around his waist they slowly made their way towards the bed. Slowly he laid her down, careful not to break the kiss that they were sharing.
Ever since the Talon had burnt down two days ago the General and Lucy had been staying at the Kent Farm, which for Lois was both a blessing and a curse. The blessing she saw was her family finally living together under one roof, which had not happened since her mother died. The curse was the lies she told every day about Clark to protect his secret, as well as, putting a damper on the mood her and Clark had been in. As for Clark he didn't complain because all he knew was he wanted the woman he loved more than life itself to be happy and with her family together she was.
The General and Lucy however weren't too happy about the new living arrangement they were forced into for the next two weeks, they found themselves feeling out of place. At least when they stayed at the Talon they felt they belonged and they felt at home, but at the farm they felt like intruders and strangers. They could see that Lois belonged here every time Clark entered the room or even when she was out walking the farm. She seemed at peace and she looked like she was finally home.
Lois knew Clark was the one; he was everything she had hoped to find in a man. Not only was he a man but he was a hero or as she liked to call him, "Superman." There was nothing that Clark could do that would turn her off from him, everything he did she would dismiss as quirky and even romantic. But today was different, today something was wrong.
Clark had left her alone with her father and sister three days ago and he hadn't been back since. She had to fabricate an explanation for the General saying he was off following a lead in New York about a corrupt Senator. But truth, be told she didn't know where he was. All she knew was that she wanted him to come home; she wanted to feel safe in his arms and know that everything was going to be okay. But most of all she wanted to know what it was he had been hiding on Thanksgiving Day.
She remembered his funny smile at the dinner table, but she didn't know what it meant. She knew that the Blur's miraculous save changed her dad's perspective on vigilante's as well as Clark. But she knew the General was hiding something, something that Clark and Lucy knew. Lois was left out and she didn't understand how everyone else knew and Lois Lane the Daily Planet's star reporter couldn't figure out the secret.
