Hello Everyone! :) So I've decided to make a full (not one-shot) Story with FairyTail characters! It's a Gavi story (GajeelXLevi) And I'm so excited to write it! I love both of these characters and they make such a cute couple it's unreal! :) Anyways, I'm not sure how long this story is going to be, but once things get going it'll eventually work itself out. Well, I hope you all enjoy chapter one and Let me know what you all think of it :)

'The Sun was beating down on the guild as the members of Fairy Tail lazed around in the pool. It was a usual hot summer day in magnolia, and everyone was their usual happy selves. The members of the famous guild were going about their regular daily events when a sudden change in atmosphere overtook the guild.'

"What are you writing?" A rough voice boomed from behind me. I shot up from my paper and stared at the large man standing over me. He had curiosity in his eyes and was eyeing the paper I held secret under my hand.

"It's nothing..." I smiled. He seemed displeased with my answer and sat down across from me.

"It doesn't look like nothing to me. Are you writing a story about the guild or something?" He leaned forward, letting his long dark hair fall in his face.

"Uh, yes...Sort of. It's more of an idea really. Nothing good." I said avoiding his stare.

"Levi, come and join us in the pool!" A voice shouted for me. I turned my head to see the blonde celestial mage, named Lucy waved me over. She smiled a large smile, which was quickly erased when another mage, Natsu the dragon slayer, grabbed her and tossed her into the pool. When she rose up from the water she grabbed the pink haired boy and strangled him.

"Natsu you freak! You could have killed me! I'm so going to strangle the life out of you!" She screamed while smacking the boy silly.

I chuckled at them. They were always doing things like that. It was a funny thing, their relationship. Though they would both deny anything, they really did like the other.

"This is good, why are you so scared to show anyone?" The same voice from earlier interpreted my thoughts once again.

"What?" I looked over at the dark haired man who was holding the paper, which I was hiding earlier, in his hands.

"When did you?" I was baffled. How did he possibly get the paper from me when I was leaning on it?

"When you were watching the fools in the pool, I took it." He admitted. I wasn't sure why he had taken it, or why he would admit it so plainly, but for some reason I wasn't mad at him. Sure a little embarrassed he had read my unfinished work, but not really mad.

"It's unfinished, and I don't like to keep people waiting for the ending..." I answered his earlier question. He looked at me with an unreadable look.

"Well, it's good, so far anyways." He tossed the paper back on the table. I caught the papers and shuffled them together.

"So why aren't you in the pool? It's hot out; do you not mind the heat?" I tried to make small talk, but I was never really good at it. At least not when the small talk was with a guy. However he didn't seem to hear me. He seemed to be in space thinking about who knows what. But it made me curious.

"Gajeel?" I looked at him sideways.

"What?" He asked, like he realized he was surrounded by people and not alone like he was in his thoughts.

"I was asking if you were going in the pool. It's really hot and-

"Are you?" He cut in. I looked at him blankly. Was he inviting me in the pool? Or was he just making a point that it was hot and I shouldn't' be asking unless I'm not going in the pool myself.

"Uh, I'm not sure...The heat doesn't bother me too much..." I gave a small smile. His face didn't change.

"I'm not too sure either, Flame brain is in there, and who knows what he does in the pool..." Gajeel smirked. Laughing at his own joke? Typical of men.

"Haha, he likes to splash...And sometimes he and Gray have temperature wars. It's not fun to get caught in the middle." I laughed. Gajeel leaned over the table.

"If you're not busy then how about you and I go on a mission together." He smirked. I felt a little warm. I never had anyone other than Jet and Droy ask me to go on missions with them. I wasn't really sure if I should say yes or deny his offer.

"Uh...What kind of mission?" I asked carefully. He chuckled.

"Nothing hard if you're not up for something like that." He stood up and headed towards the request board. I stumbled behind him.

"I'm okay with anything..." When I caught up to him he was scanning the board for a mission. I followed his eyes. By the look of him, he was deciding between two different missions.

"How about this one." I smiled and picked off the request. I glanced it over and handed it to him.

"Find the lost treasure of a royal kingdom..." He read out the request. He looked over the request for a while and I felt a little uneasy. What if he thought it was stupid? Why did it matter what he thought? Uh, let's ignore all that!

"Sounds good, an even reward. 10,000jewels. so that's 5,000jewels each right?" He counted on his fingers to get the numbers right. I laughed.

"Yep, that's right."

"Good, we'll leave tomorrow morning. Meet me here at six O'clock." And with that, he left me standing at the request board all alone. I watched him walk out of the guild.

"Levi?" Two in sync voices called my name. I took my eyes off the doors where Gajeel had just left from and turned them to my team. Jet and Droy were smiling like clowns.

"Hey Levi, do you want to go in the pool with us?" Jet tipped his hat. Droy smacked him.

"Actually guys, I have to get home. I'll see you later." I smiled and headed out the door. They waved and cried as I left the guild. It was sweet, they were sweet. But I couldn't return their feelings. I liked them both, a lot. But not the way they liked me. I wasn't too sure about real love, because I'd only ever imagined it the way it was written in the books I read. A princess, a prince...Forbidden love. You know fairy tale stuff.

I walked down the streets of magnolia towards the fairy hills dorm. The sun was brighter than ever and it was really hot. But my head was dizzy because of my upcoming mission, not because of the heat beating down on me.

'Meet me here at six O'clock' Gajeel's voice rang through my head along with images of him, smirking at me. I sighed as they repeated over and over. What was wrong with me? Was I starting to...Like Gajeel? Not just like as a friend, but more than that?

Once I was inside my room I closed the door and locked it. I headed towards my bed and collapsed onto it. It was only the afternoon, so chances of falling asleep were zero to none. I couldn't fall asleep during the day, it didn't feel right to waste away the beautiful sun and the blue skies. Instead I decided to pack for my mission. The request seemed simple enough, so packing light was probably the best idea.

Once my bag was full of everything I was going to need for the mission I decided to pass the time by reading. However books didn't keep me from thinking about Gajeel. So I got up and walked all around the dorm. I passed a bunch of rooms, empty. It was pretty silly to have such a big dorm with little people living in it. I had asked Lu-Chan to move in, but she said something about rent and that she'd have to go a mission everyday to pay for it.

I sighed.

"Levi-san?" I looked up to see a new but familiar face. It was Wendy.

"Wendy? I thought you were at the guild along with everyone else..." Wendy's face changed from a simple welcoming smile to an even brighter one.

"I was, but I'm going on a mission tomorrow with Lucy-san so I thought I should get rested up."

I smiled. Wendy was still new to the guild, but it was great to see her so willing to do a mission with anyone.

"That's great, well good luck then. I guess I'll see you when you two get back from your mission?" I started to walk back to my room, because it was getting late and walking around the whole dorm did take a while, but Wendy's voice stopped me.

"You're going on a mission too aren't you Levi-san?" Wendy's voice was innocent. I turned to see her with a questioning look.

"Uh yeah...So I may see you after I get back from mine then." I didn't really understand what she was trying to get at.

"With Gajeel-kun?"

"Uh...Hm, yeah."

"Okay, well then. Good luck with yours as well. Good night Levi-san!" She grinned and ran down the long hallway.

I stood by myself a little confused. However I shrugged it off and headed back to my room. It was darker now and the sky was a light purple but it was enough for me. I changed into my pyjamas and crawled into bed. I listened to the waves of the ocean nearby crash onto the shore of the beach. It was a sweet sound and I fell asleep to it.

First Chapter done! :) Not a whole lot of fluffy-ness yet, and I know it'll end that way becasue ALL my stories seem to be like that. T.T But whatever XD I'm just a wanna-be-writer haha.
