Why Hello There, sudden burst of inspiration! Woot!

- I must say that it was a lot easier writing Ed and Al then it was Winry. :P I have no clue why either.

Anyways, read on. :)

With one final defeated sigh Winry rolled over and sat up in bed for good. It wasn't likely that she would be getting any sleep tonight, just like every other night. Winrystifled a jaw popping yawn and threw the overheated sheets off, patting her waydownstairs, long hair swaying with the rhythm of her feet.

With nights of practice, she managed to get down to the Kitchen, flick the light on, and sink down in her regular seat with ease. The seat across from his that is, she grimaced at the stool like a bad taste in the mouth, gave a small huff and stared vacantly out the window at the early morning sky. Another sleepless night spent worrying. An additional sigh issued from her frowning lips, and she exchanged her once dull expression for a glare instead.

'If only those boys knew how worried they make me! And how frustrated.'

Winry's glare slowly melted away as she continued to gaze out at the forever brightening sky.

'I just wanted to know where they were damnit! Is that so much to ask?'

Winryquickly squeezed her eyes shut, eyes burning, from lack of sleep and not blinking mixing together into an irritating grainy feeling. Winry grumbled, lowering her head to the worn, cool table top, picturing happier days. Times when they where all together, times when they both still had loving parents alive, Times when life was still innocent and care free.

'Times when they still thought of me as a sister and not as a mechanic.'

That's when the dam broke, Winry's face crumpled and she let out a choking sound, hands balling up on the table beside her,

That's when she started to cry.

"Ah we're finally here Al, home! Erm, how exactly do you think she'll react?" Edward asked his face suddenly changing into that of apprehension, a sharp contrast to the content one he was previously wearing. "Do you think that Winy'll, be - Pissed?" He gulped peering into the glowing light of the kitchen.

"That's one way of putting brother, but yes I think she will. You did smash up her automail again. Not to mention that we're late coming home." Al's voice gave away his guilt as he followed his brothers' lead, tiptoeing towards the kitchen. Both keen not to wake up the sleepers currently residing upstairs.

"Well yeah, but that's all Colonel Bastard's fault, if he hadn't-"

Ed reached the kitchen first and what he saw sprawled at the table, making light snoring noises, had him frozen in his tracks.

"What is it brother?" Al maneuvered around to get a look inside.

"Winry!" Ed breathed, shocked, striding further into the kitchen.

"Shh! You'll wake her!" Al hissed, trying his damnedest not to make a single rattle, or thud while inching forward.

"I know that! It's just, why is she down here? I mean she's asleep now so why isn't she upstairs sleeping? Like maybe, in a bed?" Ed brought his face down mere inches from the snoring girl and snickered, poking Winry in the head. Winry's head lolled to the side and she grumbled in her sleep, knowing even unconscious who was disturbing her.

Al, still making his way into the kitchen, stopped in horror and glared at Ed. "Brother! Don't do that, you'll wake her up!"

"Eh, don't worry so much Al," Ed Replied waving one gloved hand around. "She's conked out for good; I'd give her a couple of hours of sleeping tops, and a very sore neck." Ed straightened up smugly, glancing at Al then tossed his head towards the kitchen door. "Come on, lets go upstairs and surpri-"

"Neh, Ed - ward? Is – is that you?"
