Why ME?
I wake up ervy morning
Tryin' to figure out life
Not knowing what's wrong or right.
Telling me how to live my life
Somethings just never change
Who are you to tell me
Who I can love
When did my life turn to you
Knowing it's wrong
In the eyes of my peers
But feels so right
Just brings tears.
Not considering the outcome of my actions
Never letting them feel that satisfaction
Never thought it would end
In such bitter heartache
At least when she died
She gained her freedom
But left me in this world of HATE.
It takes a true man/woman to take a stand
Never letting fear get in the way of love
But sometimes it might not be enough.
True courage lies in the heart of millions
Nothing can bring them down
It's hard to tell when it comes to people
But for me it's in plain sight
Some of us queers need a reality check
And ask: why are we the ones to die?
I didn't commit a crime. So why do one to get rid of me?
