"You wanna WHAT?"
"You heard me, I wanna jump off of the roof into the pool!"
"You're crazy!"
"So what if I am?"
"Lapis, you could seriously GET HURT!"
"Oh please, I'm accident prone."
"Says the girl who got hit repeatedly in the face during a game of volleyball."
"Besides that. Come on Peri it won't be that bad."
The night started off as a relaxing, that is until Lapis got the craziest idea to jump into the pool from the roof of her house, Peridot wouldn't have any of this. She knew that her girlfriend was the daring one in their relationship, always wanting to do the zaniest things in life, like swimming with sting rays when she was seven or skydiving from a plane for their second date. But Peridot was the opposite, the things she would mostly consider as zany is waiting outside of the GameShack for a full 24 hours on the release of the new Ninja Space Fighters game.
"Well if you're so concerned for my safety, why don't you jump off with me!" The blue dyed hair Hawaiian turned to her yellow blonde girlfriend, her eyebrows arched high and a large Cheshire like grin upon her face. Peri tried to resist the urge of caving in to her girlfriend's shenanigans. She tried turning away from Lapis to avoid direct eye contact, but Lapis just made her way around to the other side of Peridot and stared at her face once again.
"I'm not doing it, it's too dangerous!" She replied with a gruff and a folding of her arms across her chest.
"Please Peri, it will be fun. Just one time and that's it!"
"No, I'm not doing it, and neither are you!" But after much begging and pleading, Lapis still went along with her little endeavor. Before Peridot could give Lapis a long intellectual lecture on the importance of safety, the Hawaiian was gone out the window of her bedroom and on the roof, Peridot rushed afterwards.
"ARE YOU INSANE LAPIS!"
"Oh good, you are joining me!" Lapis slowly made her way to the edge of the roof, overlooking her large inground pool in the backyard. Peridot made an attempt to snatch Lapis off of the roof, but before she could get a good enough grip on the other, Lapis had took a hold of Peridot's wrist and leapt off.

Moments later
That relaxing night for the two turned into a nice, yet painful stay at the local hospital due to Peridot receiving a broken leg from hitting it on the side of the pool on impact.
