-Prologue
Blinking, Leaf shook her fur. The ground she rested on was damp and cold. To her right, was her half-sister, Strikefur, a sleek silver tabby with icy blue eyes that matched Leaf's. Turning her head, she looked at Galaxy, who's story was yet to be told. Galaxy's name was fitting. Her fur was black, with white spots, white chest, white fur around her muzzle, white tail tip, and white ears. Her back legs were an invert of the rest of her, with white fur and black spots. This odd pelt was the result of cruel animal testing, which resulted in a few other changes, including unusually dark green eyes, a great sense of smell, and eyes with the sharpest sight. Leaf admired her friends, but stood up and looked up at the sky. The sun was rising slowly.
"Leafstrike?"
"Strikefur... Don't call me that... My clan days are far behind me."
"Sorry... But is it time to go?"
Turing to face the tabby, Leaf nodded. "I'll go wake Galaxy."
Leaf waited impatiently, pawing at the ground. 'We have to get there before the eclipse... Or else we're all doomed.'
The three she cats shared one thing in common. The psychopathic black cat with a small scar across her right eye, known as Eclipse, haunted their dreams. Her ways were unknown to most, picking off cats who had rough times or were emotionally weak, and driving them to insanity.
"Alright, I'm up." Galaxy's voice could be heard from behind. Leaf didn't look back, but stood up, walking forwards.
"Eclipse doesn't appear in the real world until the night of the eclipse... We only have a few more nights... We're gonna have to cut our sleep schedules." Leaf muttered. "If we don't kill her by then... Everyone in this world will be gone in a matter of moons." She finally stopped and turned to the cats behind her. "Are you with me? For the sake of our friends, enemies, and those unknown to us? This is your last chance to turn back." Eye's narrowing, she watched them carefully. Galaxy stepped forward.
"I have left the few things I had behind... My home... My city..." She dared not to name her love. "I will not let it go down and be lost without trying." She stepped forward again. "Even if that means I die. I am not going to do nothing. I was tested on, mutated, turned into this monster that I am. Those humans are my enemies, yet they were to blind to know what they did was wrong. Selfish really, but they are living, just as I am, they have no idea how vulnerable they are to this." With, one last step, she touched her nose to Leaf's shoulder. "I shall join you."
"I have a life... I had a family." Strikefur's lost mate and kits were painful for her to discuss. "I've lost them... I've lost so much, but I haven't lost this world..." She thought for a moment. "I can't let the last thing I have disappear. If this is what we can do, then it's worth every paw step." Nodding, she joined the other two females, and the trio padded onwards, the looming hill above them, their destination. Once the light of the eclipse showed through the crescent shape on the top of the landmark, the world every and anyone knew, would change.
AN= This is a just a jumpstart on my OC, Leafstrike's story of her future.
Whether this is continued or not, is up to the reader's. I need to finish my current story first, then I'll see if this is worthy of more chapters.
