After a long and boring day at Manchester Prep Sebastian finally reached
his home. Tired he went to his bedroom and lay down for a while. He still
didn't completely recover from the accident he had had one and a half
months ago and was often tired.
Sebastian almost fell asleep when he heard Kathryn leave her room at the opposite site of the hallway. For a split second he wished she would come into his room. But then he remembered how she had caused his accident by telling Ronald he had hit her. All the time he was in the hospital he had blamed her and hated her and he had sworn to himself that he would get his revenge.
A revenge he yet had to fulfill. He had barely even spoken to her in the last couple of weeks. Kathryn would only visit him together with their parents, never alone. Since he was back home she avoided him.
The only time the two siblings had been alone was right after his accident. Sebastian had
been sleeping, when he woke up Kathryn sat next to his bed almost looking scared. They
had stared at each other for a while. Than Sebastian said in an cruel and impersonal
voice: "Is the little Princess scared I would tell everyone that she caused my
accident?" A single tear rolled over Kathryn's cheek. Than she got up and left his room without saying a word. He had expected her to deny it. Actually he had expected her to do everything but that.
Sebastian had thought a lot about this incident in the hospital. He couldn't explain why
she had acted like this. It really wasn't like her at all. He started observing her and
realized that Kathryn had changed over the past weeks. Yeah, she still played Susie
High School and everybody loved her, she also still screwed everybody she wanted, but
her fire seemed to be gone. The spark that had always gloomed in her eyes was gone. She
was not really Kathryn anymore.
"Are you tired?" While Sebastian had been thinking he hadn't noticed that Annette his
girlfriend had entered the room. "Just a little bit." He admitted. Annette of course had
forgiven him for dong the bed with Kathryn and then dumping her. She had visited him
every day when he was in the hospital. She also had been very angry when she found out
that everything had been Kathryn's fault. First she wanted tot ell everything to the police
or at least to their parents, but Sebastian had talked her out of it. The last thing he had
wanted was for everybody to know. He told Annette he would make her pay in other
ways. She had finally given in and even gave back the journal, the only real threat
against Kathryn she had had. But like she had told him, she trusted Sebastian and wanted
to do what makes him happy.
"Do you wanna go to the park/" She asked him.
"Actually I'm too tired."
"Oh, I understand. I'll leave you alone than. So you can get some rest. See you tomorrow."
"Bye."
Back alone Sebastian continued to think about Kathryn
