How to Save the World

To save the world is no easy feat.

For it requires a sense of poise,

Courage, and a sense of direction.

It requires no retreat.

It asks not of dictatorship.

Nor does it speak tyrannically.

For if you wish to save the world,

You must not look back.

Disregard and disown governments

Of sickening malice and mind pollution

For they teach doctrines of war.

The sparrow who hunts like the hawk

Shall most definitely become one.

That is a simple truth.

So instead of striving for an answer,

Strive for unwavering peace,

For an answer will surely follow.

To save the world, you must accept

The world and all its denizens

Even those who slaughter.

It shall be difficult,

But if saving the world were easy then everyone would do so.

If your hope lay dominant,

If your heart lay broken,

If you believe yourself to be too far gone,

Too low for Him to reach-

Dismiss all of that completely.

For He secures your Hope,

For He tends your Heart,

For He believes in you.

Stand Courageous against

Those who maim-

Know that all who slay for no just reason

Shall be slain by a mightier sword.

By standing firm in your position of peace,

Fully akin to your truth,

You shall not only prevail in yourself

But prevail in directing others

To the Light which He omits.

To think that we can go on

In a world in which war is commonplace

Is unbearable.

If this is so unbearable,

Why shan't the prospect of a world of peace

Be so impossible?

Are we at home with war?

If we are, I'm moving someplace else.

If we cannot realize our missteps,

Then the quest proposed is simply proposed

And shan't be carried out.

However, if we realize that we are wrong

Admit that He is right,

If we cease to be selfish and begin to be kind,

Then perhaps we can dispose of the old notion

That He is hard to find.

Shall we replace with something better?

Something more true?

How about the thought-

He is looking for what He bought,

Which is something He always had.

We simply do not know who has us.

To save the world we must realize two things:

First, He is the winner in the ring

Second, We are the prize trophy and the boy who polishes it.

Believe in life that is given,

Forgive those who take it,

And save those you forgive.

For the man who saves one can bring peace to the others.

The phrase of taking one to save the world is true

Because it already happened.

It is a validated hypothesis and I suggest we test it out again.

Only one has accomplished it- the task of impossible feat-

And only one is fully able to.

For only He can truly save the world

Because He can truly understand it.

A mere man who believes he understands mathematics

Is nowhere comparable in understanding

Than a teacher of mathematics.

Now, I am not astute in that subject

Nor do I wish to be,

But the point is there.

An expert and an expert only can save the world.

To bring about peace,

To bring about the acceptance of the misgivings,

To bring about the deliverance.

Just as the Dauphin of the Great Dominion flies

Every morning to greet his subjects,

So does He who saves the world.

He is with us and He is in us and He shall save us.

We can aide Him too.

For the duty

Rests not on Him alone.

If we speak kindly of our kin

Then we instill His love.

If we walk justly and soundly,

Not taking crocked roads

Or bearing a cross demeanor-

We shall see the betterment of our brothers.

And thus, the nourishment of the seed placed

Within us by Him.

To save the world is no easy feat,

But if saving the world were easy, then everyone would do so.
