Good-looking…well, Tooru was certainly that, otherwise he'd never been made a Princess, but the school never saw the times that attracted Yuujirou to him. That first-thing-in-the-morning look, ruffled and sleepy; the leave-me-alone-it's-too-late-to-talk manner he adopted in the dorms at night sometimes after a hard day; still damp from the showers; even better, naked in the big baths.
Reliable…he could count on Tooru for anything. The other boy stood by him during all their escapades as Princesses, as students, and as friends. Even though he tried, Mikoto wasn't nearly as dependable as Tooru – he ran off during jobs, protested at every turn, and generally gave Yuujirou a headache on bad days. Tooru would never back down from a challenge, and took his duty as it came.
Liking to spoil her…Yuujirou couldn't recall a single thing he'd asked for that Tooru had denied him. He'd gone down to the bakery on Yuujirou's birthday and picked out a cake, even thought the blond had been joking about not getting a convenience store one. Actually, Yuujirou hadn't expected Tooru to go at all – he'd been joking about the whole thing. Then, Tooru had gone out with him to pick up girls, despite clearly not wanting to, and had laughed with him afterwards at their failures.
Good personality…kind, giving, understanding, open-minded, an a good listener even when he didn't like what he was hearing, Tooru was damn near everything a girl could want. It was almost everything Yuujirou wanted too.
When Yuujirou listed the qualities of Tooru that Sayaka found attractive, he wasn't being entirely truthful. He wasn't really listing the things she liked; he was choosing those he liked.
And when the blond Princess declared that "with all these qualities, it's no wonder she's fallen in love", he really wanted to say "I've", not "she's".
"It's no wonder that I've fallen in love."
Yes, that was what he meant to say.
