Mr. Penguin and Mrs. Otter

Were destined to be starcrossed lovers

One a soldier while the other waits

Hours and days to see if he's safe

Through danger and peril, he still came back

Determined to keep their relationship intact.

And through their missions she stood,

And handled the worry best that she could.

Cause she knew he would always come home.

She knew she'd never be alone.

And though her faith was strong and honestly true.

When tragedy struck, there was nothing she could do.

That day he left with his three conrades.

She waited ten months but he never came back.

The conrades did, tragically so

With their dead leader sadly in tow.

Well Mrs. Otter just about died, seeing him there.

Seeing no life in his blank, dark stare.

When his funeral past, she wept and wept.

And she never ate and she never slept.

Her heart never healed, not even with time.

Cause without him there, the sun never shined.

Then one day, her body gave up.

She smiled as she died and said "What luck!"

But not because she was dying, oh no

But because she knew exactly where she'd go.

She'd go to him and he'd smile

And then he'd say, "I haven't seen you in awhile!"

And she cry with joy and run to him.

And they'd be together happily again.

And though starcrossed lovers they happened to be.

They still ended up together for eternity.
